It was released as a Starter in Japan on March 30th, 2024. It later debuted in western countries as Buster Dran 1-60A in a Starter Pack released by Hasbro for USD$9.99 in the United States.
It is the successor to DranDagger 4-60R and is succeeded by DranBrave S6-60V.
Blade - DranBuster
- Main article: Blade - DranBuster
DranBuster is an Attack Type Blade with an overall blocky shape. The Gear Chip features a dragon head shooting a fireball.
As part of the Unique Line, DranBuster has resin Launcher Hooks instead of metal ones, which increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD). In addition, it features an Unique Line gimmick: a "large sword" tip-like protrusion on the bottom of DranBuster acts as the primary contact point and namesake. This creates an imbalanced weight distribution, with the weight being concentrated at the protrusion. This results in the ability for DranBuster to perform a "One Hit Kill" (一撃必殺, Ichigeki Hissatsu), delivering a powerful blow with the protrusion. As a result of its shape, DranBuster has high Burst Attack and Knockout (KO) Attack.
DranBuster is intended to be used in tandem with the 1-60 Ratchet and Accel Bit. The 1-60 Ratchet has an imbalanced design that matches the weight distribution of DranBuster. The Accel Bit increases the speed of an Xtreme Dash, causing heavier hits.
Only one side of the sword tip protrusion makes contact with the opponent's Bey; consequently, this contact area will dent and chip over time. It is thus recommended to have several copies of DranBuster for competitive usage.
Ratchet - 1-60
- Main article: Ratchet - 1-60
The 1-60 Ratchet features 1 protrusion at a 6.0 millimeter height. The imbalanced shape and weight distribution is intended to match with the DranBuster Blade.
Bit - Accel
- Main article: Bit - Accel
Accel or A is an Attack Type Bit that features a flat tip with a shallow circular indentation in the center, akin to its predecessor, Flat. The flat tip creates aggressive movement, which makes it easier to contact the Xtreme Line (X-Celerator Rail) to perform the Xtreme Dash gimmick. While the Rush Bit focused on increasing the frequency of Xtreme Dashes by having fewer gears compared to Flat, Accel instead has more gears, 16 instead of the standard 12, which increases the speed of an Accel combination's Xtreme Dash at the cost of Stamina.
