Driger Slash Heavy Fusion (ドライガースラッシュ・ヘビー・フュージョン, Doraigā Surasshu Hebī Fyūjon) is a Balance Type Beyblade released as part of Beyblade's 15th Anniversary for the Burst System. It was released in Japan on October 22nd, 2016 for 900円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 4 Quad Quetzalcoatl.J.P and was later released in western countries as a part of the Driger S & Dragoon Fighter Dual Pack.

Energy Layer - Driger Slash

Main article: Energy Layer - Driger Slash
Driger Slash is an adaptation of the Tiger Defenser Attack Ring and Driger Bit Chip from the original Plastic Generation meant for the Burst System. As such, it features an overall elliptical shape with two tiger heads with large wings that form the main points of contact, and an image of the Bit Beast Driger in the center. The only differences between the Energy Layer and the original Attack Ring is that the Layer is much thicker overall, the wings are slightly more compact making the Layer somewhat smaller, the wings don't have Upper Attack slopes and the "Bit Chip" is irremovable. For the Takara Tomy release of Driger Slash, it features four teeth, the first tooth is medium in length, and the next three are tall in length, which are so tall that there have been reports of the Layer "sticking" in between clicks, like Mad Minoboros.

While the elliptical shape and large wings of Driger Slash may imply heavy recoil and thus high Burst Attack potential, in practice, the points of contact are actually compact due to their acute angle and thus reduce this Layer's recoil to below that of Victory Valkyrie's. Furthermore, the Burst Resistance of its teeth is mitigated by the Layer's light weight and low inertia caused by its hollow construction. While Driger S can has potential in Anti-Attack Combinations against Valkyrie and Xcalius by catching their points of contact and Bursting them against its own Burst Resistance, it is a niche use, which is no longer viable in the current metagame.

Forge Disc - Heavy

Main article: Forge Disc - Heavy
Heavy is a primarily circular Forge Disc, sporting a ring-like shape with numerous ridges on its interior that is interrupted by four rectangular protrusions designed to look like armored plates. As its name suggests, Heavy was the heaviest Forge Disc in the Burst System for a considerable period of time, until Gravity, which also weighs 21.6 grams, and Quarter, which weighs 21.8 grams were released. Despite this, Heavy is still one of the heaviest Forge Discs in the game, making it a popular choice for many Bladers. As its weight is a welcome asset to nearly any Beyblade, it enjoys a wide variety of uses on Combinations of all types. Heavy's high weight and compact shape gives it a Centralized Weight Distribution, making it particularly useful for Burst Attack as it will maximize the RPM of the Beyblade. This same weight distribution also makes it considerably more difficult to Burst than Gravity, the other disc in its weight class, at the cost of a significant amount of Stamina. Because of this, it is a better option for a KO Defense Combination than Gravity as KO Defense Combinations rely on high friction and weight to remain in the stadium, at the same time increasing their vulnerability to Bursting. However, due to its weight, Heavy is still more prone to Bursting than most lighter competitive Forge Discs such as Spread, Knuckle, and Armed.

Performance Tip - Fusion

Main article: Performance Tip - Fusion
Standing at a standard height for Burst Beyblades, Fusion is a Performance Tip with a flat base that has a small sharp tip protruding in its center, similar to the Flat Sharp Performance Tip from Metal Fight Beyblade. Like the latter, it tries to perform well as a Balance Type but fails to provide great Attack movement or the stability and Stamina required for the other types of Combinations. For those reasons, Fusion is unable to do better or even as good as all other Performance Tips specialized in their Combination Type, therefore it is never used competitively.
