Balkesh B7 is a Drive Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the QuadDrive Starter Pack, Roar Balkesh B7 Giga-Q Edge-Q+Moment-10.

Description

Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is a left-spin Drive Chip that features a dragonic head representing Bahamut, a monster from Arabic folklore. Balkesh B7 has an above average weight for Drive Chips and below average Burst Resistance.

Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, Balkesh B7 does not have the "Rubber Lock" gimmick.

Overall

QuadDrive System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward.

As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.

QuadDrive System Layers have no competitive advantage over similar alternatives from other systems, which also have higher Burst Resistance.

As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.

Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.

As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.
