Balkesh B7 is a Drive Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the QuadDrive Starter Pack Roar Balkesh B7 Giga-Q Edge-Q+Moment-10.
Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is a left-spin Drive Chip that features a dragonic head representing the Drive Chip's namesake. Balkesh B7 has an above average weight for Drive Chips, and average Burst Resistance. Like other Drive Chips, its Burst Resistance is not comparable to GT Chips released in the HyperSphere System, which have higher Burst Resistance. The issue of low Burst Resistance is compounded by the light weight of QuadDrive System Layers, making them even easier to Burst than usual.
QuadDrive System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward. As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.
QuadDrive System Layers have no competitive advantage over similar alternatives from other systems, which also have higher Burst Resistance. As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.
Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format. As such, Hasbro's Balkesh B7 is recommended for collection purposes only.
