Muramasa M7 is a Drive Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Katana Muramasa M7 and Vanish Cobra C7 Dual Pack.

Description

Hasbro's Muramasa M7 is a right-spin Drive Chip that features the side profile of a helmeted face representing the Drive Chip's namesake, the legendary Japanese swordsmith Muramasa. On the side of the helmet is a stylized letter "M". Muramasa M7 has an average weight for Drive Chips and below average Burst Resistance.

QuadDrive Layers are heavily outclassed in the format by Takara Tomy's Dynamite Battle Layers.

As such, Muramasa M7 is not recommended for the Burst Format.

In the Burst GT Format, QuadDrive Layers are outclassed by heavier Takara Tomy Gatinko Layers.

As such, Muramasa M7 is not recommended for the Burst GT Format.

Due to its average Burst Resistance, Muramasa M7 is outclassed by other right-spin Drive Chips.
