Perseus P7 is a Drive Chip released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Destruction Belfyre B7 and Decay Perseus P7 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's Perseus P7 is a right-spin Drive Chip that features the side profile of the Drive Chip's namesake, Perseus, a hero from Greek mythology. Perseus P7 features an average weight for Drive Chips and high Burst Resistance.
Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart, Perseus P7 does not feature any metal.
Overall
QuadDrive System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward.
As such, Hasbro's Perseus P7 is recommended for collection purposes only.
Although Hasbro's Perseus P7 is the tightest right-spin Drive Chip, the low weight and mediocre Burst Resistance of QuadDrive System Layers means they do not have any competitive advantages over similar alternatives from other systems. However, Perseus P7 should be used if a Right-Spin Blade is being utilized.
As such, Hasbro's Perseus P7 is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.
Hasbro's Perseus P7 is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
