The Face Bolt depicts "Uranus", god of the skies in Greek and in Roman mythology Uranus' equivalent was, Caelus. Uranus was the primal God of the Sky who fathered the Titans with Gaia. The design features the head of Uranus split in two, again resembling its dual nature and referencing its Fusion Wheel Duo, and is printed on an atomic yellow-green Face Bolt. The design is slightly asymmetrical with reversed colors schemes, with one side black containing atomic green highlights and the other side having atomic green with black highlights. The Hasbro version has a Spark FX decal in place of the Face Bolt decal.

Ice-Titan is a dark translucent indigo in color similar to the Aquario and Fox Energy Rings, but is designed in a spiky, vortex-like manner to represent tornadoes and other atmospheric phenomena. This could be used for stamina, but not recommended. The size of the Energy Ring is extremely small, for it shows over a millimeter of space when placed on the Twisted Fusion Wheel, the smallest Clear Wheel in diameter. The Hasbro version will include Spark FX decals. It has use on the the Spiral metal wheel.

The Hasbro version of the Duo Fusion Wheel cannot change modes, and is permanently set in Stamina mode. It is also now hollow, significantly reducing its weight. Due to its reduced weight and inability to change modes, the Hasbro version of Duo does not have outstanding defense like the Takara Tomy mold.

230 is the same Track as the one that Flame Byxis 230WD and Flash Sagittario 230WD have and a remarkably tall Spin Track. It is quite thick in order to protect itself from Beys. Because it was designed to force shorter Beyblades to hit the Spin Track, it provides great Defense from low attacking Beys such as Mercury Anubis. It is also currently the highest Track, and its height has made a large impact on the metagame. Before Flame Byxis' release, low-height Beyblades such as the 85 Track dominated competitive play, but the 230 Spin Track is not affected by shorter Beyblades at all, and thus completely defeated the Low-Track metagame.

Higher Tracks such as 130 or higher are recommended for battle against 230. However, 230's main downfall is being attacked by Beys with high tracks that are still lower than 230, such as 145, and Left-Spinning Beys such as [[L-Drago Destroy F:S|L-Drago Destructor]]. Triple Height 170 can outperform 230 though due to it's ability to change height from 170, to 195, and to 220 and the Sharp series of Performance Tips should never be used with 230 due to 230's height, which causes imbalance through lack of sufficient contact with the stadium at low spin velocities. Despite this, 230 is a great Track nevertheless, and very useful for Defense. It is a gold color.

== Performance Tip: Wide Defense (WD) ==

Wide Defense (WD), is owned by many beys today as it's name implies, is the widest of the Defense series of Performance Tips (D, SD, PD, EWD, W²D). When compared to D, is still contains the gear-like shape and is of course wider with the Sharp tip wider and taller as well. WD also retains the two curved holes D contained but are now thinner, smaller and found on the Sharp tip.

Being wider brings advantages and disadvantages to WD. An advantage is being able to conserve better Stamina than D and SD, due to the more surface area as well as being able to spin at a lower spin-rate that that of D or SD which cannot. A disadvantage however, is worse balance than D. The wide shape gives WD a harder time to regain it's balance whereas, D does it much easier. This can be terrible when faced with an Attack-Type, although this should not be kept as a worry as it can be an advantage. This should take into consideration when using a Spin Track such as 230 or TH170. D would be a better choice than WD as it would regain balance much easier to help cope with 230. WD can also defeat Attack-Types with a weak launch in the opposite direction to absorb the opponent's attacks by spin-equalizing.

At release, WD has found quick use as a Stamina-Type Tip, much better than D and has become top-tier. However, as many more Performance Tips like CS, EDS, and B:D were released, they have overshadowed WD. Despite all of this, WD is still a great Performance Tip for Stamina. Just like the rest of the D series, WD does not carry any Defense potential in spite of its name, rather, WD has use in Stamina. So in all in all, even though WD may not be the best Defence-Type Tip, it still has use in the metagame and, most importantly, is still a great Stamina-Type Performance Tip. It is a gold in colour.

This article is about the Hasbro Hybrid Wheel System release. For the original 4D System release, see Duo Uranus 230WD.

Duo Ice-Titan 230WD is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Beyblade: Metal Fury toyline under their Spark FX product line.

Face Bolt - Ice-Titan

UranusFace
Main article: Face Bolt - Ice-Titan

The Face Bolt ostensibly depicts "Uranus", the Greek god of the sky. The design features a split masked face, which appears torn on the left side, revealing a skull underneath. The division of the face into two separate halves references the "duality" theme of Duo Uranus 230WD. There are six dots on the forehead, representing Uranus' first six sons and six daughters, the Titans.

Energy Ring - Ice-Titan

UranusEnergyRing
Main article: Energy Ring - Ice-Titan

Ice-Titan is a 4D Clear Wheel designed in a spiky, vortex-like manner that accentuates the design of the Duo Fusion Wheel. Ice-Titan has two pentagonal shapes above and below its centre, and the stickers on it represent wings slightly shaped into faces, where one is more diabolical-looking with jagged feathers, and the other is more heroic-looking, with smoothly curved lines. Ice-Titan is notable for being the smallest Energy Ring released in the Metal Saga toyline, being only 36 millimeters in diameter at its widest points. Ice-Titan is also one of the lightest Energy Rings, being only 0.2 grams heavier than Gemios, the lightest Energy Ring.

Despite this, Ice-Titan finds use in some Attack Type combination due to its exposed contact points when paired with certain Fusion Wheels.

Fusion Wheel - Duo

DuoHasbro
Main article: Fusion Wheel - Duo (Hasbro)

Duo is Hasbro's version of Duo, and, as with other Hasbro Fusion Wheel remakes, has been hollowed out. Furthermore, the mode change gimmick has been removed. While Takara Tomy's Duo was one of the most competitively viable Defense Type Fusion Wheels, these changes make Hasbro's Duo roughly the same as Earth in terms of Defense and Stamina. It retains the circular design and minimal recoil and is thus comparable to Earth.

Spin Track - 230

Track 230 img2
Main article: Spin Track - 230

230 is the tallest Spin Track released in the Metal Saga toyline. It was first released with Flame Byxis 230WD as part of the Maximum Series, and was advertised as the "Maximum Height" for Spin Tracks. 230 has six indents near the top that sharpen downwards to the middle of the Spin Track. 230 is rounder and thicker than other regular Spin Tracks with no gimmicks, in order to protect it structurally when it comes into contact with opposing Fusion Wheels. Its round and smooth shape results in significantly less recoil than if it were based on the traditional hexagonal Spin Track shape.

Since 230 is so tall, it can wobble at great lengths for extra Stamina, defeating various Stamina Type customizations with lower Tracks. From a defensive viewpoint, 230 uses its height as an advantage to protect itself from low incoming Attacks, by protecting the Fusion Wheel from major contact while using the reinforced plastic to absorb most of the shock. As a result of this, 230 can defeat most low Attack customizations under the 120 height when paired with other top-tier Defense parts.

230 also has some notable weaknesses, however. As a Defense Type Spin Track, 230 is extremely susceptible to tall Spin Track opposite spin Attack Type customizations. Additionally, 230 is outclassed by the likes of Triple Height 170 (TH170), which offers the same height and also the versatility of the height change gimmick.

Performance Tip - Wide Defense

Bottom wd img (2)
Main article: Performance Tip - Wide Defense

Wide Defense (WD) retains the two curved holes D contained but are now thinner, smaller and found on the Sharp tip.

Being wider brings advantages and disadvantages to WD. An advantage is being able to conserve better Stamina than D and SD, due to the more surface area as well as being able to spin at a lower spin-rate that that of D or SD which cannot. A disadvantage however, is that it is worse at regaining balance than D. The wide shape gives WD a harder time to regain its balance whereas, D does it much easier. This should take into consideration when using a Spin Track such as 230 or TH170. D would be a better choice than WD as it would regain balance much easier to help cope with 230. However, while D can regain balance better, it cannot maintain it as well as WD, especially with the heights of 170 and above.

At release, WD has found quick use as a Stamina-Type Tip, much better than D and has become top-tier. Despite this however, as many more Performance Tips like AS, EWD, and B:D were released; they have overshadowed WD. EWD has also overshadowed WD due to EWD's bearing to regain balance better and much better Stamina. W²D performs basically the same as WD though but with worse balance but better attack.

Wide Defense (WD) has significant defensive capabilities as well, but because it still uses a form of sharp tip, its friction with the stadium floor is decreased, which as a result makes it easier to knock around than a Tip like WB which has much more friction with the stadium floor. But since it can recover quickly, it does not matter.

Some Bladers experience a fast movement from Wide Defense, allowing the Wide Defense tip with fast movement to be paired with high-recoil fusion wheels such as Vulcan, Beat, Fang, Spiral, Flash, or Variares, to create powerful, or even a 1-Hit KO Attack-type combos, or be paired with low-recoil fusion wheels such as Bakushin, Duo, Gravity (Perseus Stamina), Fusion, Wing, Death to create counter-attacking Defense-Type combos.
