Dynamite Kerbeus Legacy Moment-9 (ダイナマイトケルベウス・レガシー・モーメント-9, Dainamaito Kerubeusu Regashī Mōmento-9) is a Defense Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It was released in Japan on May 28th, 2022 for 1400円 as one of six possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 29.

DB Core - Kerbeus

Main article: DB Core - Kerbeus

Takara Tomy's Kerbeus is a right-spin DB Core that features three dog heads and a red chain, representing the DB Core's namesake, Kerberos, the three-headed guard dog of the Underworld from Greek mythology. Kerbeus has high Burst Resistance due to its gimmick: like the left-spin Bahamut DB Core, Kerbeus features a slope, akin to Hasbro Layers, instead of teeth, and a "Rubber Lock". The Rubber Lock gimmick consists of two rubber protrusions on either side, as well as in the center of the DB Core. The friction caused by the Rubber Lock protrusions creates resistance, making it more difficult for a combination to Burst.

Although Kerbeus does not have the "BU Lock" gimmick, the Rubber Lock interacts with the raised protrusions on the Disc tabs of the two BU Lock compatible DB Discs, Xanthus and Moon. This results in increased Burst Resistance that makes the combination very difficult to Burst. Due to mold variation, the two B-198 releases of Kerbeus feature the highest Stamina performance. Another notable feature of Kerbeus is its rounded perimeter, unlike the polygonal perimeter of all other DB Cores. This rounded perimeter is meant to interact with the Chain BU Blade's gimmick: when Kerbeus is used, the six movable chains of Chain are able to retract when struck by an opponent.

As Kerbeus has the highest Burst Resistance of all right-spin DB Cores, it is recommended in any combination, alongside the Belial 3 DB Core. Both DB Cores feature high Burst Resistance for different reasons - Kerbeus has a Rubber Lock while Belial 3 has a "BU Lock" and a "Burst Stopper".

Blade - Dynamite

Main article: Blade - Dynamite

Takara Tomy's Dynamite is a right-spin Attack Type Blade with three blades acting as the main contact points. While intended for Attack combinations, Dynamite has poor Attack performance due to its light weight, and its contact points are too short and stubby.

Dynamite is compatible with the F Gear and L Gear. When the F Gear is attached, the perimeter of Dynamite becomes rounder, with the rubber of the F Gear filling in gaps between the three blades. This round perimeter makes Dynamite one of the strongest Stamina Type options in the metagame, alongside the Wind BU Blade. Compared to Wind, Dynamite has slightly higher performance against Same-Spin opponents. Its superb Stamina performance against both Same-Spin and Opposite-Spin opponents makes Dynamite and the F Gear a must-have in the Burst metagame.

Like all Blades, Dynamite can switch between Low and High Modes by swapping the position of the DB Core and the Armor. When the L Gear is used, Dynamite can only be used in High Mode; although this adds weight and increases performance, High Mode is primarily used in Opposite-Spin Stamina matchups. As there are better Blades to use in these matchups, Dynamite with L Gear is not recommended.

As a result of its high Stamina performance, Dynamite with F Gear has been a staple of the metagame since its release, and is one of the two strongest Stamina Layers in the game, alongside Wind.

Armor - 9

— Official Description

Takara Tomy's 9 is an Armor with a three-sided design featuring nine wing patterns, reminiscent of the Wing Forge Disc. Like the previously released 3 Armor, the three-sided shape works best with three-sided Blades such as Ultimate and Vanish, finding use in Attack and Stamina combinations.

Forge Disc - Legacy

Main article: Forge Disc - Legacy

Legacy is a circular DB Disc with six downward sloping blades along its perimeter. It is essentially the DB Disc version of Boost, whose design Legacy references. In addition, two of the blades feature a "Z"-like design that are references to the Zenith Disc. In theory, the blades are intended to produce Down Force in right-spin, increasing the grip of the Beyblade on the stadium floor by pushing air downward and create Upper Force in left-spin which would decrease the friction between the Beyblade and the Stadium floor by pushing air upward. In practice however, the Down/Upper Force created is negligible and the blades reduce the Life-After-Death (LAD) of Legacy. Due to its shape and weight distribution, Legacy works best with Attack combinations.

Performance Tip - Moment

Main article: Performance Tip - Moment

Moment is a Defense Type Performance Tip that features a ball shaped tip surrounded by a downwards facing dish that free spins, similar to Guard. Unlike Guard, Moment's dish can also tilt at an angle, in theory increasing Knock-Out (KO) Resistance. When hit, the tilting dish is intended to readjust itself to regain balance. If Moment is balanced, it features performance that can go up against meta Performance Tips such as High Xtend+'. However, if Moment is knocked off balance and unable to recover, it will Destabilize.

Notably, the B-194 and B-198 releases of Moment feature dishes that can free spin more than the original B-186 releases, increasing Stamina performance, and as such are recommended over the latter.
