Attack Ring - Dual Dragon[]

Main article: Attack Ring - Dual Dragon

Attack Ring - Dual Dragon is a Attack Ring released as part of the Spin Gear System. It debuted with the release of Dragoon F on RELEASEDATE.

Description[]

Weight: 6 grams Dual Dragon can be considered an upgrade of Reverse Dragon (Dragoon S' AR). Like Dragoon S, it has four left-facing projections to provide Smash Attack. The red part of the AR is made of a substance called Dual Carbonate, a particular type of Polycarbonate. This increases the AR's durability; being able to absorb shock from hits more efficiently than regular plastic. However, this AR is outclassed by many other ARs and thus has no competitive use.

Weight Disk - Eight Heavy[]

Main article: Weight Disk - Eight Heavy

As the name “Heavy” implies, the Heavy series of WDs is the heaviest available weight disk (including WDs not in the Six/Eight/Ten sided category). Due to the heavy weight and the compactness of that weight, the Heavy weight disks are often used for Compact type combos for the simple reason of increased RPM. When the weight of a Beyblade is focused towards the centre (as opposed to a Wide WD where it is focused around the perimeter), its RPM will increase. This weight is also often put to use in Defense oriented customs, with weight being the primary concern in that type. Ten Heavy is the heaviest out of all of the Heavy weight disks, and generally speaking, is chosen over Six and Eight Heavy when customizing.

Spin Gear - Right SG[]

Main article: Spin Gear - Right SG

Right Spin Gears allow for right spin when used in tandem with Right-Spin Shooters. In a Right-Spin Spin Gear, two tabs (situated close to the right sides of the Spin Gear) would attach to the Right-Spin Shooter, allowing a Beyblade to be spun clockwise.

They have plastic casing surrounding a metal ring and gear which is placed into the Blade Base and held in place by base clips. The core (centre pieces) is not interchangeable in Standard Spin Gears. Different variations have now been released that feature weights, bearings and even an engine inside the Spin Gear.

Blade Base - Metal Change Base[]

Main article: Blade Base - Metal Change Base

The BB of Driger S, Metal Change Base, has an interesting function. The tip is sharpest at its direct center, but flat on most of the tip. Because of this, you can use this tip as either an attack tip or survival tip.

When shot straight, Metal Change Base will land on the sharpest part of its tip. In this form, this BB has great survival, better than many bearing shaft BBs, such as Wolborg. However, if shot on a slant, the BB will land on the flattest part of its tip, causing it to move in an attack pattern. In this mode, Metal Change Base's movement is very quick and aggressive, somewhat like SG Metal Flat Base (Gaia Dragoon V). Metal Change Base provides an excellent mix of the two types.

Changing Modes During Battle[]

When a Beyblade donning Metal Change Base is hit in battle while in survival mode, it will often tilt and shift into attack mode. This will allow the Beyblade to deliver a returning attack to the opposing Beyblade before regaining its balance and shifting back into survival mode.

Using Sliding Shoot With Metal Change Base[]

Sliding Shoot causes the Beyblade to tilt when it is shot. Because of this, Metal Change Base will create a movement that sweeps through the center of the Beystadium, shifting from attack to survival mode constantly.

Use in Compact Customization[]

Metal Change Base is round with a low diameter and a metal tip that has balanced performance. Because of this, it is the perfect choice for a compact combo. Note: This is the same compact combo that was listed for Tiger Defenser.

  • AR: Tiger Defenser (Driger S)
  • WD: Ten Heavy
  • SG: Neo-Right SG Heavy Metal Core (Takara Metal Driger)
  • BB: Metal Change Base (Driger S)

As you can see, this Beyblade is not very different from an uncustomized Driger S. However, with just a few simple improvements, Driger S's strongest attributes can be exploited even further.

Rule Clarification: Tip Exchange[]

It is illegal to exchange the tip of Metal Change Base with any other tip.
