Ronin or Dark Knight (ダークナイト, Dāku Naito) is a Element Wheel released by Takara Tomy as part of the Synchrome System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BBG-16 Starter Dark Knight Dragooon LW160BSF on July 21, 2012, and in Western countries with the release of the SS-16 Starter Pack Ronin Dragoon LW160BSF in August 2013.

Description

Ronin is a two-sided Element Wheel, with sharp studs on one half and an aggressively curved blade on the other. A slight, smooth slope is created by this blade in Ronin's design. Ronin can be fit on any Warrior Wheel, including Right-Spin ones. If Ronin is placed in Crystal Up Mode, the customization becomes Left-Spin.

When paired with Dragoon and other Warrior Wheels, Ronin can provide some Smash Attack, but like all other Element Wheels it is rendered useless because of its light weight compared to Synchrome combinations.

Overall

Like other Element Wheels, Ronin is outclassed in all aspects by Warrior Wheels, which are used in Synchrome combinations.

As such, Ronin is not recommended for the WBO's Metal Fight format.

Like other Element Wheels, Ronin is outclassed in all aspects by Warrior Wheels, which are used in Synchrome combinations.

As such, Ronin is not recommended for the WBO's Metal Fight ZeroG format.

Like other Element Wheels, Ronin is far too light to make Warrior Wheels viable in the Metal Fight 4D Format, where Synchrome combinations are banned.

As such, Ronin is not recommended for the WBO's Metal Fight 4D format.

Unlike many other Element Wheels, Ronin features a large protrusion that grants it high-reaching Smash Attack. This protrusion allows Ronin to counter 230 height Stamina combinations.

As such, Ronin is a must-have for the WBO's Metal Fight Limited format.
