Burn Phoenix (バーンフェニックス, Bān Fenikkusu) is an Energy Layer released by Takara Tomy as part of Metal Fight Beyblade's 10th Anniversary for the Burst System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-158 Random Booster Vol. 19 on February 22nd, 2020.

Description

Takara Tomy's Burn Phoenix is an Energy Layer that adapts the Phoenix Face Bolt, Phoenix Energy Ring, and Burn Fusion Wheel of the Metal Series' Hybrid Wheel System for the Burst System. As such it resembles the general shape of these parts, with a design consisting of wings and tails of a phoenix, and a circular perimeter with two sets of wave-like ridges. The three parts are noninterchangeable and combined into a single piece. The Phoenix I motif adorns the center of the Energy Layer, with the word "Phoenix" on the sides. Compared to the original parts, the Burn Phoenix Energy Layer is noticeably wider - the "Fusion Wheel" portion of the Energy Layer is made of plastic, with metal lining the circumference. Burn Phoenix has particularly poor Burst Resistance, due to its fine locks.

Overall

Like other Burst System remakes, Takara Tomy's Burn Phoenix is outclassed in the current metagame by recent releases from Takara Tomy.
