Dragoon Storm (ドラグーンストーム, Doragūn Sutōmu) is an Energy Layer released as part of Beyblade's 15th Anniversary for the Burst System. It debuted with the release of the B-00 CoroCoro Exclusive Booster Dragoon Storm Wing Xtreme (Aniki Ver.) in November 2016 and was later released in the B-00 wbba. Store Exclusive Booster Dragoon Storm Wing Xtreme on March 4th, 2017. It later debuted in western countries with the release of the Dragoon Storm & Dranzer S Dual Pack.

Dragoon Storm is an adaptation of the Reverse Dragon Attack Ring and Dragoon Bit Chip from the Original Plastic Generation meant for the Burst System. As such it features an overall square/diamond shape with four dragon heads that act as the main contact points and an image of the Bit Beast Dragoon in the center. The only differences between the Energy Layer and the original Attack Ring is that the dragon heads are more compact making the Layer somewhat smaller overall and the "Bit Chip" is non-removable.

Dragoon Storm features teeth comparable to those on Victory Valkyrie, while such teeth would normally allow a Layer to withstand its own recoil, the pointed shape of each of the heads are so recoil heavy and the Layer is so light in weight due to being very thin and hollow that the teeth are still unable to compensate in almost any circumstance.

While Dragoon Storm has strong teeth, its shape is simply too aggressive and its weight is too light to be effective, a factor that is exacerbated with the heavier SwitchStrike/God Layer System. As such, Dragoon Storm is outclassed by other Layers for Left Spin Attack such as Nightmare Longinus and Legend Spriggan.

As such, Dragoon Storm is recommended for collection purposes only.

Differences in the Hasbro Version

Hasbro's Dragoon Storm features two primary differences compared to Takara Tomy's Dragoon Storm; the Layer is even more compact, slightly reducing recoil and the slopes of the Layer are very weak compared to its counterpart's teeth. Due to these weak slopes, Hasbro's Dragoon Storm incurs Self-Bursts more than its Takara Tomy counterpart, despite the reduced recoil.

As such, Hasbro's Dragoon Storm is also recommended for collection purposes only.
