Overall

Hasbro's Gaianon G2 is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Gigant Gaia with the same strong Burst Resistance and Defense potential. However, with the release of the SwitchStrike/God Layer System, Gaianon G2 is now too light to be competitive.

As such, Hasbro's Gaianon G2 is recommended for collection purposes only.
