Lightning L-Drago (ライトニングエルドラゴ, Raitoningu Erudorago) is an Energy Layer released by Takara Tomy as part of Metal Fight Beyblade's 10th Anniversary for the Burst System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-151 Random Booster Vol. 17 on October 19th, 2019.

Description

Takara Tomy's Lightning L-Drago is a left-spin Energy Layer that adapts the L-Drago I Face Bolt, L-Drago I Energy Ring, and Lightning Fusion Wheel of the Metal Series' Hybrid Wheel System for the Burst System. As such it resembles the general shape of these parts, with a design featuring three dragon heads. The three parts are noninterchangeable and combined into a single piece. Consequently, this Energy Layer lacks the mode change gimmick of the original parts, instead being permanently in "Barrage Mode". Compared to the original parts, the Lightning L-Drago Energy Layer is noticeably wider - the "Fusion Wheel" portion of the Energy Layer is made of plastic, with metal lining the circumference. Lightning L-Drago has average Burst Resistance, so using a Dash Driver is recommended.

Due to its heavy weight and aggressive shape, at its release Lightning L-Drago was an excellent Energy Layer for use in Attack Combinations, and is comparable to other Attack Type Energy Layers in the Cho-Z Layer System and Gatinko Layer System, such as Zwei.
