Orpheus O2 is a Hasbro Exclusive Energy Layer released as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Orpheus O2 & Unicrest U2 Dual Pack.

Description

Orpheus O2 is a symmetrical Defense Type Energy Layer that’s round in shape. Its design consists of two sloped blades made of colored plastic that go from the front to the back; with each one having a gap at the front, two orb-like designs made of clear plastic that are near the back of the Layer, three clear spikes at the back of the Layer, akin to Treptune, and string-like designs that run down the center of the Layer. Along with a face on the front side of Orpheus O2, its design resembles a lyre, representing the Layer's namesake; Orpheus, a musician in Greek mythology.
