Satomb S3 is an Energy Layer released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SwitchStrike System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Star Storm Battle Set.

Overall
Hasbro's Satomb S3 is visually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Kreis Satan with the roller gimmick intact. However, the Layer's slopes are weak which exacerbates the issue of recoil from the intrusive gimmick and makes Satomb S3 prone to Bursts. Furthermore, Satomb S3 still retains its Takara Tomy counterpart's poor Stamina, making it outclassed by Layers such as Roktavor R3 and Fafnir F3.
As such, Hasbro's Satomb S3 is recommended for collection purposes only.
