Spiral Treptune T4 is an Energy Layer released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SlingShock System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Lava-X Anubion A4 & Spiral Treptune T4 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's Spiral Treptune T4 is a Stamina Type Energy Layer based on Takara Tomy's Screw Trident Layer, featuring three large blades to create an overall triangular shape. Despite being based on a God Layer System Energy Layer, Spiral Treptune T4 is instead part of the SlingShock System rather than the SwitchStrike System, and thus lacks the rubber for the "Bound Defense" gimmick of its Takara Tomy counterpart. Although the effects of this gimmick were negligible, the removal of the rubber reduces the Layer's weight by 4 grams, increasing its already high recoil and Burst risk.
