Tyros T2 is an Energy Layer released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Tyros T2 & Doomscizor D2 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's Tyros T2 is a Balance Type Energy Layer featuring two sets of four blades, as well as chains and two "T"s on opposite sides. A Greek helmet and a beastial visage, along with a large stylized "T", adorn the center of the Layer. The two "T"s create points for Burst Attack and, combined with the two sets of blades, give Tyros T2 a mix of Defense and Attack properties. Tyros T2 shines primarily in Defense Combinations; its low recoil shape creates high Knock-Out (KO) Defense, which is complimented by its high Burst Resistance.
Overall
Tyros T2 is far too light to compete with modern Layers in the current metagame.
As such, Tyros T2 is not recommended for the Burst Standard Format.
Although Tyros T2 has high Defense properties, it is outclassed in the format by heavier Layers in the God Layer System/Cho-Z Layer System.
As such, Tyros T2 is not recommended for the Burst Limited Format.
Tyros T2 is a good Defense Type Layer, with strong Knock-Out and Burst Resistance.
As such, Tyros T2 is a must have for the Burst Classic Format.Products
