Unicrest is an Energy Layer released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Valtryek & Unicrest Dual Pack.

Overall
While Hasbro's Unicrest is identical in shape to Takara Tomy's Unicorn, it has been slightly altered, causing it to perform differently than its Takara Tomy counterpart. The most notable change is one that affects all of Hasbro’s Burst System releases: the use of a slope on the underside of the Layer to manage the Burst Mechanic rather than teeth.
