<onlyinclude>Like its predecessor Valtryek, Valtryek V2 has three upward slanted wings that excel at KOing opponents but the Layer falls behind its predecessor Valtryek at giving Bursts. Unlike Valkyrie's teeth, the teeth of Victory Valkyrie have no problem with wear due to them having greater width, following the model introduced with Xcalibur. The teeth are also very tall which allows the Layer to withstand its own recoil and avoid Self-Bursts which made this Layer an excellent choice for Attack Combinations.
<onlyinclude>Valtryek V2, like its predecessor Valtryek, is an Attack Type Energy Layer that's primarily triangular in shape. Its design consists of three primary blades and three secondary blades. The primary blades are large, made of translucent-colored plastic, are slanted upwards, and have two hook-like gaps in front of them. The secondary blades each consist of three smaller blades that are conjoined together, and run behind the primary blades. Running behind each secondary blade is a square-like protrusion that acts as the sockets for the Layer's screws. Like its predecessor Valtryek, a sideways armored face is seen looking to the left; with one of the three secondary blades sprouting from the back, along with a "V" placed above it and the "V" in the center of the Layer. These details represent the Layer's Takara Tomy namesake; the Valkyrie, a group of handmaidens that served Odin in Norse mythology. However, these details match the anime's rendition of the Layer's spirit; an armored knight.

There are three minor mold variations of Victory Valkyrie: the first mold had completely hollow wings which made it very fragile and prone to breaking; the second mold, introduced with the Rich Green Version, has added bars within the wings for reinforcement. However, despite these reinforcements, this Layer continued to suffer cases of breaks. The third, most recent mold, introduced in the B-64 Beyblade Super Custom Set Heavy Ver., includes a reinforced center ring along with the aforementioned bars within the wings, which not only addresses most of the breakage issues but also causes the part to weigh about half a gram more than its first mold variation. It is advised to find a third generation mold because of this increased weight and durability, though the first and second versions will suffice if one is prepared to replace them.</onlyinclude>
Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s upward-slanted wings are positioned at an obtuse angle, which generates high levels of recoil that KOs opponents with ease, but falls behind its predecessor in terms of Burst Attack. For the Takara Tomy release of Victory Valkyrie, it features three teeth of tall length that, unlike the teeth of Valkyrie, have no problem with wear due to them having greater width, following the model of teeth first introduced with Xcalibur. The aforementioned tall length of Victory Valkyrie<nowiki/>'s teeth also means that it is capable of withstanding its own recoil; which allows it use rubber Performance Tips without the risk of potential Self-Bursts, which makes this Layer a Top-Tier choice for Attack Combinations. Furthermore, the release of Performance Tips with strong springs such as Xtreme' and Zephyr', increases Victory Valkyrie<nowiki/>'s Burst Resistance. There are also three mold variations of Victory Valkyrie:

Hasbro's Valtryek V2 has two primary differences. The first is that the three wings are shaped somewhat differently. Unlike Takara Tomy's Victory Valkyrie, where the contact points of the wings are straight at an obtuse angle, the wings of Valtryek V2 curve inwards to create a hook like shape and the angle is steeper. This change in shape means Valtryek V2 enjoys an increase in Burst Attack, as the point of contact is more likely to catch the protrusions of opposing Energy Layers. The second is the plastic used. While Valtryek V2 has completely hollow wings like the first mold of its Takara Tomy counterpart, it features the center reinforcement ring of the third mold of its Takara Tomy counterpart, and the plastic used is softer, making it much more durable.
Unlike Takara Tomy's Victory Valkyrie, Hasbro's Valtryek V2 is made of a softer mold of translucent-colored plastic, making it more durable than both Victory Valkyrie and most other Takara Tomy Dual Layers, albeit having reduced Stamina. Aside from this, Hasbro's Valtryek V2is mostly unchanged from Takara Tomy's Victory Valkyrie; with the same primarily triangular shape and six-bladed design.

Overall, the well shaped contact points of Valtryek V2 make it a Top-Tier Energy Layer for Attack Combinations in the Burst Classic Format if Layers such as Roktavor are unavailable. However, with the release of the SwitchStrike/God Layer System, Valtryek V2 has become too light to remain competitive in the current metagame.
However, Valtryek V2 has two major differences from Victory Valkyrie: The first is that Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s primary blades are made at a steeper angle that creates a more prominent hook-like shape, which makes the primary gap in front of the blades larger than Victory Valkyrie<nowiki/>'s. This change in shape increases Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s Burst Attack potential, as the protrusions of the opponent's Layer is more likely to be caught by Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s primary gaps. As a result, Valtryek V2 outclasses Victory Valkyrie for Burst Attack.

As such, Valtryek V2 is a must have for competitive bladers of the Burst Classic Format but is recommended for collection purposes otherwise.
The second difference is the molding of the Layer's primary blades. While they are hollow, akin to the first mold variation of Victory Valkyrie, Valtryek V2 features the same centerpiece reinforcement ring that was featured with the third mold variation of Victory Valkyrie. While Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s hollow blades imply the risk of them breaking, the use of softer plastic, along with the inclusion of the reinforced center ring, makes this negligible.

While Valtryek V2 is too light to be competitive in the current metagame, it is also Top-Tier in the Burst Classic Format. However, due to how old Valtryek V2 is, it is mostly unavailable. If one prefers to use it, getting the Valtryek V2 Limited Unite Single Pack is the best option.

As such, Valtryek V2 is also recommended for collection purposes only in the Standard and Hasbro-Only Format, and is also a must-have for competitive bladers of the Burst Classic Format.

Use in KO/Burst Attack Combinations
Valtryek V2 can be put to use in the KO/Burst Attack Combination Valtryek V2 Knuckle/Triple Xtreme/Unite. The light weight, round shape, and Outward Weight Distribution of Knuckle increases Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s Burst Resistance, while the high speed of Xtreme/Unite increases the chances of the Layer's gaps catching the protrusions of the opponent's Layer or making contact with the blunt side of the Layer's primary blades.

When using Triple specifically, it can be positioned in two ways: It can either be positioned so that it can increase the weight of the Layer's attacks via its primary blades, or it can be positioned so that it, at first, increases the weight of Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s secondary wings, but then increases the weight of the Layer's primary blades as the Combination grows closer to Bursting. This Combination, overall, is a great counter against Gaianon G2/Blizzard-X Gaianon G4 Combinations, as Valtryek V2<nowiki/>'s primary gaps can catch the stone-like protrusions of the Layer and thus producing enough recoil to Burst or KO them.

Valtryek V2, known as Victory Valkyrie (ビクトリーヴァルキリー, Bikutorī Varukirī) in Japan, is an Energy Layer released as part of the Burst System and the Dual Layer System. It debuted in the B-34 Starter Victory Valkyrie Boost Variable on April 2nd, 2016, and has been released multiple times since then. It is the second Dual Layer released. It later debuted in western countries with the release of the Starter Pack Valtryek V2 Boost Variable.

Description

Like its predecessor Valtryek, Valtryek V2 has three upward slanted wings that excel at KOing opponents but the Layer falls behind its predecessor Valtryek at giving Bursts.

It is advised to find a third generation mold because of this increased weight and durability, though the first and second versions will suffice if one is prepared to replace them.

Overall

With Victory Valkyrie's strong teeth and aggressive shape, this Energy Layer is a Top-Tier part for Attack Combinations in the Burst Classic Format and made a great alternative to Valkyrie and Xcalibur if they were not available. However, with the release of the SwitchStrike/God Layer System, Victory Valkyrie is simply too light to remain competitive in the current metagame.

As such, Victory Valkyrie is a must have for competitive bladers of the Burst Classic Format but is recommended for collection purposes otherwise.

Differences in the Hasbro Version

As such, Valtryek V2 is a must have for competitive bladers of the Burst Classic Format but is recommended for collection purposes otherwise.
