Exceed Evil-eye Boost Jaggy (イクシードイビルアイ・ブースト・ジャギー, Ikushīdo Ibiruai Būsuto Jagī) is an Attack Type Beyblade that's a part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. As a video game-exclusive Beyblade, it was never released.
Energy Layer - Exceed Evil-eye[]
- Main article: Energy Layer - Exceed Evil-eye
Takara Tomy's Exceed Evil-eye is a Defense Type Energy Layer with the center of it featuring the head of a horned serpent representing Ouroboros, and molding akin to the iris of an eye, representing the evil-eye, a supernatural curse originating from Mediterranean cultures.
The Layer's perimeter is made up of six blades, three made of colored plastic and three made of clear plastic. The colored blades are wide and make up most of the perimeter, while the clear blades are small and party fill up the gaps in between the colored blades.
Despite the resemblance, Exceed Evil-eye has poor performance due to the Layer's mediocre teeth and recoil inducing design caused the large gaps. However, the shape allows Exceed Evil-eye to act as a consistent counter against Maximum Garuda, catching into Maximum Garuda's notches and Bursting it, though such usefulness is niche.
Forge Disc - Boost[]
- Main article: Forge Disc - Boost
Boost is a circular Forge-Disc with six small downward sloping blades present around its perimeter. In theory, the blades are meant to produce Down Force in Right-Spin to increase the grip of the Beyblade on the stadium floor by pushing air downward and create Upper Force in Left-Spin which would decrease the friction between the Beyblade and the stadium floor by pushing air upwards. In reality however, due to the small size of the blades, the Down/Upper Force created is negligible and the said blades serve no other purposes other than drastically reducing the Life-After-Death of Boost. Furthermore, Boost has a light weight even for a non-Core Disc and a poor weight distribution making it a poor choice for Attack, Defense and Stamina Combinations.
Performance Tip - Jaggy[]
- Main article: Performance Tip - Jaggy
Jaggy features a flat, eight-pointed star tip with a depression in the center. Due to this Performance Tip's shape and surface area, Jaggy will create a moderately aggressive movement pattern with speeds exceeding Accel's. However, the rough perimeter of Jaggy will make it difficult to maintain a Banking Pattern while also heavily reducing Stamina in the process.
