Ionis is a Face Bolt released by Takara Tomy as part of the Hybrid Wheel System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BB-116 Random Booster Vol. 8 Jade Jupiter on August 6, 2011. It debuted in western countries with the release of the B-135 Starter Pack Forbidden Ionis ED145FB.

The Face Bolt depicts "Io". In Greek mythology, Io was a nymph that was transformed into a heifer, a young cow by Zeus. The design shows the head of a heifer.
