Union Diabolos 00Expand Bearing (ユニオンディアボロス・ダブルオーエキスパンド・ベアリング, Yunion Diaborosu Daburuō Ekisupando Bearingu) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released as a wbba. Store Exclusive Booster in Japan in March 2020 for 1397円.

Gatinko Chip - Diabolos

Main article: Gatinko Chip - Diabolos 1

Diabolos is a dual-spin Gatinko Chip that features a dragon head and claws representing the Gatinko Chip's namesake, a demonic dragon. Unlike other Gatinko Chips, Diabolos has an integrated Layer Weight, with a weight exceeding all Gatinko Chip and Layer Weight combinations. While versatile in both right-spin and left-spin, Diabolos is outclassed in terms of Burst Resistance and weight distribution by other Gatinko Chips such as Achilles and Longinus. However, Diabolos can be used as a second or third option for if weight is a priority and the Goku Layer Weight is unavailable.

Hasbro's Pro Series Devolos is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Diabolos, but manufactured with weaker materials.

Layer Base - Union

Main article: Layer Base - Union

Takara Tomy's Union is a right-spin Balance Type Base with two large sloped blades as the primary points of contact, granting the Base high Knock-Out (KO) and Burst Attack potential. These blades are further amplified by the Union Sword accessory, which can be removed to switch between modes. In "Power Mode", the Union Swords are attached onto the Base, increasing the weight of Union and the length of the two large blades. In "Speed Mode", the Union Swords are removed from the Base, increasing the speed of the Union combination and complementing Attack Type Drivers such as Xtreme'.

Forge Disc - 00

Main article: Forge Disc - 00

00 is a symmetrical, elliptical disc that can facilitate a Disc Frame. 00 is the heaviest Core Disc, outclassing 0 by 1 gram, and has an ideal weight distribution for all Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Disc Frames, 00 can be used to great effect in any Combination. While the weight can increase the risk of Bursts, the weight of most Layers released in the SwitchStrike/God Layer Systems and onward can compensate.

Disc Frame - Expand

Main article: Disc Frame - Expand

Expand is a round, wide Disc Frame with four smooth blades, with six gaps in total. This design, like the Maximum Garuda and Air Knight Energy Layers, is intended to produce Upper Force. In theory this Upper Force will help "lift" the Beyblade, lowering friction between the Performance Tip and the stadium floor to improve Stamina. In practice however, the blades instead create air resistance when spinning and slow the Beyblade down. The round design of Expand creates high Stamina and Life-After-Death (LAD), as its wide shape prevents the Energy Layer from touching the stadium floor when the Beyblade is tilting. Its LAD capabilities are comparable to those of other popular Disc Frames such as Cross, Glaive and Proof.

Performance Tip - Bearing

Main article: Performance Tip - Bearing

Bearing features a free-spinning, low angled cone tip composed of PolyOxyMethylene (POM) plastic and supported by ball bearings, akin to a mix between Yielding and Bearing Drive from Metal Fight Beyblade.

The POM plastic reduces friction between the stadium floor and the tip while the ball bearings reduces friction between the tip and the shaft, features that grant Bearing the highest Stamina potential in the game. Furthermore the bearing supported free-spinning shaft resists roaming if a Bearing Combination is off balance or low on spin, helping a Combination remain in the center as much as possible. Additionally, because of how small the tip of Bearing is, combined with the wideness of the cone, the Combination will often be off balance, even when it has a lot of Stamina left. This can actually create Disc-to-Layer contact.

However, the Takara Tomy release of Bearing features two critical weaknesses. The first is the poor Knock-Out Resistance caused by the POM tip; since there is so little friction between the tip and stadium floor, Bearing Combinations are highly susceptible to Knock-Outs. The second and more important is the poor Burst Resistance; while low friction and free-spinning tips normally increase a Combination's Burst Resistance, Bearing's spring lock is noticeable much weaker than any other Performance Tip, making Bearing Combinations the easiest to Burst in the game.
