It is succeeded by Monster Ogre O5 Outer Octave-H.

Energy Layer - Ogre O4[]

Main article: Energy Layer - Ogre O4

Hasbro's Ogre O4 is an Attack Type Energy Layer that's primarily triangular in shape. Its design consists of three large primary blades and three pairs of two small secondary blades; all of which are made of colored plastic. The primary blades are made at a taller height than the secondary blades, are raised upwards at the ends, and has translucent-black and metallic-painted plastic blades stacked on top of them that also surround the center rim of the Layer; two of the plastic blades are molded into the shape of bony tails or spines. In the center of the Layer is a beast-like head that's depicted from a sideways profile; with a large primary plastic blade protruding from its forehead, and four small spikes protruding from the back of its head. These details represent the Layer's namesake; an oni, an ogre from Japanese folklore. As a part of the SlingShock System, Ogre O4 features regular plastic instead of metal in its design; in this case, the bony blades and protrusions are made of plastic. The inclusion of plastic makes Ogre O4 fast enough to ride the Rail System of the SlingShock Beystadium/Rail Rush Beystadium, albeit at the cost of being lighter than most SwitchStrike Layers.

Akin to most other Turbo Layers, Ogre O4 is compatible with a Level Chip that can be fitted underneath the Layer.

Forge Disc - 1[]

Main article: Forge Disc - 1

1, like other odd numbered Core Discs, is asymmetrical and elliptical in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. One side features two small sword-tip like protrusions and the other side features a single, larger protrusion of the same shape. 1's gimmick is that it is highly imbalanced, it achieves this by having the side with the larger protrusion being more filled in with metal than the other, akin to Quarter. This weight distribution has two primary uses: The first is to increase the Burst Attack of Attack Combinations by generating momentum like a flail which is further enhanced by the heavy weight of 1. The second is to make a Combination using an imbalanced Layer such as Sieg Xcalibur more properly balanced by aligning the heavier side opposite the the heavier side of the Layer which increases Stamina and Burst Resistance.

Compared to Quarter, 1 has greater success in Attack Combinations and has proven capable of increasing the rate of Bursts despite being lighter than most other Core Discs. However, the same imbalance makes 1 unsuitable for Stamina or Defense as the more imbalanced a Combination is, the easier it is to Burst and the faster it loses Stamina. Furthermore, the imbalance slows down Mobile Attack Combinations, making it better suited for Stationary Attack Combinations.

Performance Tip - Jaggy-S[]

Main article: Performance Tip - Jaggy-S

Jaggy-S is Hasbro's SlingShock counterpart to Takara Tomy's Jaggy Performance Tip, and thus features a flat, eight-pointed star tip with a depression in the center. Surrounding the perimeter of the tip is a bumpy cone that can be twisted and pulled down to activate its "SlingShock Mode". Due to its shape, Jaggy-S has a moderately aggressive movement pattern with speeds exceeding Accel's. However, the rough design makes it difficult to maintain a Banking Pattern while also heavily reducing its Stamina.
