"Abracadabra! Wizard Fafnir!" (魔ジカ!?ウィザードファブニル!, Ma jika!? Wizādo Fabunīru!; Seer-iously!? Wizard Fafnir!) is the third episode of the Beyblade Burst GT anime. It first aired on April 19th, 2019 in Japan.

"From the Flames! Glyph Dragon!" (炎のグランドラゴン!, Honō no Guran Doragon!; The Fiery Grand Dragon!)​ is the fourth episode of the Beyblade Burst GT anime. It first aired on April 26th, 2019 in Japan.

Both episodes later aired as the second episode of the Beyblade Burst Rise anime titled "Abracadabra! Wizard Fafnir!" on January 24th, 2020 in New Zealand, on February 8th, 2020 in America, and on March 8th, 2020 in Canada.

Episode Descriptions[]

Part 1: While training, Dante stumbles across a high-tech gym run by the Spark Wings. Not ready to give up their new recruit, the Victories swoop in to prove to Dante there’s more to a Bey club than just fancy equipment!

Part 2: Inspired by his match against Spark Wings’ captain Fumiya Kindo, Dante decides it’s finally time to take Dragon to the next level. Say hello to the new stamina powerhouse on the block, Glyph Dragon! But before Dante can to draw out its full power, he’ll have to rework his launch technique.

Overall: While training, Dante stumbles across a high-tech gym run by the Spark Wings. One battle is all it takes to show why this club, and their leader Fumiya Kindo, are the Victories' biggest rivals!

  • While on a training run, Dante finds the Spark Wings Gym, where he meets the team's captain and Ichika's older brother, Fumiya Kindo.
  • Fumiya's Wizard Fafnir Ratchet Rise Sen makes its debut.
  • Dante faces off with Fumiya, but loses.
  • After finding Dante at the Spark Wings Gym, Arman faces off with Fumiya, but loses.
  • After witnessing Wizard Fafnir, Dante forges a new Stamina Type Layer Base for Dragon: the Glyph Layer Base.
  • Dante tests Glyph Dragon and after some training, he quickly masters it.
  • Dante faces off with Arman to test out Glyph Dragon and wins.

  • Before and after Taka starts streaming Arman's match with Fumiya, Arman can be seen with his headband on, but he never put it on until the battle starts.
  • When Dante attaches Glyph Dragon to his launcher in its first battle, it appears as Ace Dragon.

Trivia[]

  • Episode 4, or part 2 in the dub, is the first Japanese episode of Beyblade Burst Rise to show Dragon with a Layer Base in the title card, which is the Glyph Layer Base.
  • In the localized version of the episode when Dante and Fumiya talk about their Beys, the breakdown visuals of Glyph Dragon and Wizard Fafnir's Layers are replaced with extended shots of the Bladers with Dante's visual being modified to make his mouth move when talking after raising Dragon.
