Slash Valkyrie Blitz Power Retsu (スラッシュヴァルキリー・ブリッツ・パワー・烈, Surasshu Varukirī Burittsu Pawā Retsu) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released as a Booster in Japan on March 16th, 2019 for 1296円.

It is the successor to Cho-Z Valkyrie Zenith Evolution and is succeeded by Brave Valkyrie Evolution' 2A.

Gatinko Chip - Valkyrie

Main article: Gatinko Chip - Valkyrie

Valkyrie is a right-spin Gatinko Chip that features an armored face with a stylized V adorning the helmet, intended to represent the Gatinko Chip's namesake, Odin's handmaidens in Norse mythology, Valkyrie. Valkyrie has a standard weight for Gatinko Chips and high Burst Resistance. Valkyrie features two hard Locks, giving it high Burst Resistance, even when a Dash Driver is not used. When paired with the Goku Layer Weight, Valkyrie is an excellent Gatinko Chip to use in right-spin Combinations.

Hasbro's Valtryek is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Valkyrie, but manufactured with weaker materials.

Layer Weight - Retsu

Main article: Layer Weight - Retsu

Retsu has three hexagons, one on the right side and two on the left side. That means most of the weight will be concentrated on one side of the Beyblade the Retsu weight is on. Also, the Retsu weight's hexagons don't have that much detail, they are just basic, thus having less weight than detailed weights like Sen and Goku. Being that the weight of Retsu is low compared to more-detailed layer weights stated in the previous sentence, Retsu is heavily outclassed and has no use in combinations.

Layer Base - Slash

Main article: Layer Base - Slash

Slash is a Right-Spin Attack Type Layer Base that features three upward slanted wings as the primary points of contact, akin to its predecessors in the Valkyrie Energy Layer line. As part of the Gatinko Layer System, Slash is compatible with any Right-Spin or Dual-Spin Gatinko Chip. While the three-sided shape implies Slash has high Attack potential, the wings are too short and do not protrude far enough to make decent contact. While its aggressive shape has moderate Attack potential, Slash is outclassed by Judgement for right-spin Attack Type Layer Bases.

Hasbro's Pro Series Sword is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Slash, but manufactured with weaker materials.

Forge Disc - Blitz

Main article: Forge Disc - Blitz

Blitz is a three-sided Forge Disc with a plastic piece riveted to the bottom that has three protruding flaps. These flaps are meant to rise upwards during high spin velocity, theoretically creating better weight distribution for Attack Combinations at high speeds. In practice, this gimmick has a negligible effect. Blitz is a well-rounded Forge Disc overall, with uses in Attack, Defense, and Stamina Combinations. However, due to its shape, it is best suited for Attack Combinations due to its three-sided weight distribution. Among Gatinko Layer System Discs, Blitz is one of the heaviest, and does not have the scrape risk that other Forge Discs such as Convert have.

Performance Tip - Power

Main article: Performance Tip - Power

Power features a spring-loaded flat star tip of a wide diameter, akin to a combination of Jaggy and Nothing. When the spring-loaded tip is retracted and the spring is compressed, the Burst Resistance increases to the level of a Dash Driver, similar to Venture. Despite this gimmick, Dash Drivers offer more immediate and consistent high Burst Resistance. Furthermore, Power has too little Stamina, and is difficult to control due to its jagged shape. Rubber Attack Type Performance Tips such as Quick' and Xtreme' offer greater speed and control, while plastic tips such as Destroy' and Zephyr' offer more Stamina. Therefore, there is no reason to use Power over more other Performance Tips.
