Wonder Valtryek V4 is an Energy Layer released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the SlingShock System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Rail Rush Battle Set.
Description
Hasbro's Wonder Valtryek V4 is a right-spin Attack Type Layer based on Takara Tomy's Winning Valkyrie. It is virtually identical to its Takara Tomy counterpart, albeit with the metal components replaced with plastic. As Winning Valkyrie was based on the shape and size of the Victory Valkyrie, Hasbro's Wonder Valtryek V4 has the same performance as Valtryek V2. Like its predecessors, Wonder Valtryek V4 features three large wings as the primary points of contact. Due to the lack of metal, Wonder Valtryek V4 is 10 grams lighter than its Takara Tomy counterpart, and lacks the additional Burst Attack and Knockout (KO) Attack potential as a result.
Like most other SlingShock Layers, a Level Chip can be fitted underneath Wonder Valtryek V4 to give it additional weight and balance.
Overall
Hasbro's Wonder Valtryek V4, unlike Takara Tomy's Winning Valkyrie, does not feature any metal, making it lighter than most SwitchStrike Layers, and features weakened slopes as well. As a result of this, Wonder Valtryek V4 lags behind most SwitchStrike Layers such as Legend Spryzen S3 and Xcalius X3.
As such, Hasbro's Wonder Valtryek V4 is recommended for collection purposes only.
