Flame Sagittario 8' Claw (フレイムサジタリオ・エイトダッシュ・クロー, Fureimu Sajitario Eito Dasshu Kurō) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System. It was released in Japan in December 2019 for 8100円 as a part of the Metal Fight Beyblade Anime 10th Anniversary Set.
Energy Layer - Flame Sagittario
- Main article: Energy Layer - Flame Sagittario
Takara Tomy's Flame Sagittario is an Energy Layer that adapts the Sagittario I Face Bolt, Sagittario I Energy Ring, and Flame Fusion Wheel of the Metal Series' Hybrid Wheel System for the Burst System. As such it resembles the general shape of these parts, with a symmetrical bow and arrow design, and a circular perimeter with two small spikes and gaps. The three parts are noninterchangeable and combined into a single piece. The Sagittario motif adorns the center of the Energy Layer. Compared to the original parts, the Flame Sagittario Energy Layer is noticeably wider - the "Fusion Wheel" portion of the Energy Layer is made of plastic, with metal lining the circumference. Flame Sagittario has particularly poor Burst Resistance, due to its fine locks.
Forge Disc - 8'
- Main article: Forge Disc - 8'
8', like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. 8' is essentially a wider and lighter version of 8, with higher Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) due to its wider shape. As a result, 8' has higher Stamina Potential than its predecessor. Like 8, 8' features four protrusions on each side. Each of the protrusions features gaps, akin to Knuckle, which takes weight away from the center and creates high Outward Weight Distribution. However, like other heavy Forge Discs with high Outward Weight Distribution, the use of 8' decreases Burst Resistance as a trade off.
Performance Tip - Claw
- Main article: Performance Tip - Claw
Claw features a low angled cone tip akin to Survive, albeit with a smaller diameter, with four free-moving "claws" along the sides of the Tip, akin to Metal Fight Beyblade's C145 Track. When spinning, the centrifugal force will force the claws up and outwards to in theory increase Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and in turn increase Stamina. In practice however, such an effect is negligible and does little to increase Stamina potential. Furthermore, when spin speed drops and the claws fall back down they scrape against the stadium floor and reduce Precession time, making Claw outclassed by Survive for Stamina. However, the claws grant Claw decent Knock-Out Resistance as they will scrape against the stadium floor if a Claw Combination is struck and resist Knock-Outs at the cost of Stamina, akin to the tabs of Defense. Furthermore, the small point of contact creates low friction with the stadium floor and increases Burst Resistance.
