10 (テン, Ten) is a Forge Disc released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System and SlingShock System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-117 Starter, Revive Phoenix 10 Friction, on July 7th, 2018. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Cyclops C4 & Phoenix P4 Dual Pack.
Description
10, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features five protrusions, each molded into the shape of a "10". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 10 high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Stamina potential. Furthermore, the size of the protrusions makes 10 one of the heaviest Core Discs at the time of writing, heavier than 7 but less than 0, and grants an ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Frames, 10 can be used to great effect in any Combination.
Overall
Like other Core Discs, 10 is too light to remain competitive in the current metagame, and is outclassed by new Discs in the Superking Layer System and onward, such as Wheel and Over.
As such, 10 is recommended for collection purposes only.
10's is a top tier choice in the WBO's Burst Limited Format, where stronger Discs released after 10 are restricted. Although not as heavy as Core Discs such as 0 and 00, 10 offers greater Stamina. 10 is one of the four strongest Core Discs in the format, alongside 0, 00, and 7.
As such, 10 is a must have for competitive bladers.
10 is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
As such, 10 is recommended for collection purposes only.Products

Trivia
- The Revive Phoenix model in the anime features the original prototype version of the 10 Disc. This first prototype had gaps with no metal underneath the protrusions, creating a potential to damage an opponent's Layer. The underside of this prototype also featured several protrusions. A picture of this prototype was used as the official Takara Tomy image on packaging as well as the website.
- A second revised prototype filled in these gaps, while retaining the same underside as the first prototype. Some of these prototype Discs were eventually sold on the private market in September 2021.[1]
- The third iteration of the 10 Disc, which ultimately became the final production design, features a completely filled and rounded underside. This final iteration was not seen until the release of the official product video for Revive Phoenix, on the day of its release.[2]
