Blitz is a Forge Disc released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the HyperSphere System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the HyperSphere Starter Pack, Sword Valtryek V5 Blitz Power-H.
Description
Hasbro's Blitz Forge Disc is based on Takara Tomy's Forge Disc of the same name. As such, its shape resembles the design of its Takara Tomy counterpart. However, it is significantly smaller, reducing its weight. Furthermore, Blitz lacks the gimmick of the Takara Tomy version, instead being compatible with a Disc Frame, like the Core Discs. Due to its hollowed underside and light weight, there is no reason to use Blitz over heavier Core Discs.
Overall
The light weight of Hasbro's Blitz makes it a poor choice in any Combination. In the current metagame, Blitz is too light to be competitive.
As such, Hasbro's Blitz is recommended for collection purposes only.
Like all HyperSphere System Forge Discs, Hasbro's Blitz is too light to be used over Core Discs in this format.
