This article is about Knuckle. For its Rip Fire counterpart, see Forge Disc - Knuckle-L.

Knuckle (ナックル, Nakkuru) is a Forge Disc released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dual Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-35 Starter, Storm Spriggan Knuckle Unite, on April 2nd, 2016. It later debuted in western countries with the release of Hasbro's Starter Pack, Spryzen S2 Knuckle Unite.

Description

A wide Disc that has a large diameter and centrifugal force that can improve a Beyblade's Attack power by gathering the center of gravity from its six outer points.
— Official Description

Knuckle is a circular Forge Disc with six notches around the perimeter and four holes near the center of the Forge Disc. The letter "K" is written on its prongs for easy differentiation from other Forge Discs. Due to the holes in the Disc, most of the weight of Knuckle is focused around its perimeter giving it high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) which results in excellent Stamina properties. However, it lags behind other Forge Discs like Spread and Gravity in terms of Stamina potential.

Although, one advantage Knuckle holds over the aforementioned Forge Discs is increased Burst Resistance which only falls behind Down and Armed, both of which suffer from scraping issues and low Stamina respectively. Due to its good Stamina, decent weight and high Burst Resistance, Knuckle was once an excellent Forge Disc for all kinds of Combinations. However, Knuckle has since been outclassed by heavier Forge Discs.

Later releases of Knuckle by Hasbro, particularly the ones included with Poison Cyclops C5 Knuckle Guardian-H and the Evolution Trio Spryzen 3-Pack, are noticeably lighter, at about 18.5 grams compared to the 20.2 grams average.

Overall

Knuckle was an excellent Forge Disc for all types of Combinations, but was subsequently outclassed by the heavier and more versatile Core Discs and Disc Frames.

As such, Knuckle is recommended for collection purposes only.

Knuckle is outclassed by heavier Core Disc and Disc Frame combinations, as well as Forge Discs released by Hasbro such as Wheel-SP and Tapered-Q.

As such, Knuckle is recommended for collection purposes only.

Knuckle is a top-tier Forge Disc in the WBO's Burst Classic Format, where its heavy weight and versatility makes it one of the strongest Forge Discs in the format.

As such, Knuckle is a must have for competitive bladers.
