Forneus F4 4Glaive Hunter', known as Emperor Forneus 4Glaive Hunter' (エンペラーフォルネウス・フォーグレイブ・ハンターダッシュ, Enperā Foruneusu Fō Gureibu Hantā Dasshu) in Japan, is an Attack Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. Energy Layer - Forneus F4

Forneus F4 is a round Defense Type Energy Layer that features twelve counter-clockwise blades that create a low-recoil design and two shark heads that go from the perimeter to the center, meant to represent the Layer's namesake; the sea monster Forneus, a Great Marquis of Hell in demonology, the sea monster. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Emperor Forneus features metal in its design; in this case, in the shark details. The inclusion of metal makes Emperor Forneus heavier than most SwitchStrike/God Layers.
The placement of the metal improves Defense potential by not only increasing the weight but by creating a Centralized Weight Distribution which resists movement. However, the blades of Forneus F4 are warped which creates recoil akin to Nova Neptune or Psychic Phantom, and the Centralized Weight Distribution creates poor Stamina, though the warped blades can create Destabilization potential and the heavy weight and strong teeth of the Takara Tomy release of Emperor Forneus can compensate for the recoil.
Like many other Cho-Z Layers, Emperor Forneus is unbalanced which increases Burst risk and drains Stamina. However, these issues can be solved with the use of a Level Chip that fits underneath the Layer.
Forge Disc - 4

4, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features two protrusions, one molded into the shape of a "4" and the other molded into the shape of the Roman Numeral "IV". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 4 high Outward Weight Distribution and subsequent Stamina potential. As a Core Disc, 4 is comparatively heavier than regular Forge Discs such as Heavy and Gravity which grants higher KO resistance and the ability to facilitate Disc Frames can add characteristics such as Life After Death with Cross or Glaive. While 7 has greater Stamina, 4's Stamina is still comparable.
Disc Frame - Glaive

Glaive is a mostly round Disc Frame with two sharp, wave like protrusions on either side. While too small to come into contact with the opponent's Layer in battle, the round shape of Glaive grants high Life After Death while the upwards direction of the protrusions ensure they do not scrape along the stadium floor. While Cross has greater Life After Death, Glaive is still comparable.
Performance Tip - Hunter'
The surface area to friction ratio of Hunter' creates a moderately aggressive, easy to control movement pattern. In terms of speed, Hunter' is faster than Accel and Zephyr but slower than Xtreme, Hold and a worn Variable. Hunter''s speed allows for strong attacks and its high friction creates less chances of losing the Banking Pattern in battle which would make it an excellent choice for Attack Combinations.
However, Hunter' has three major weaknesses. First the high friction of the rubber means that Hunter' has incredibly low Stamina, which when combined with the light weight of the Burst System compared to previous Systems means that there is less inertia, exacerbating the Stamina issue further. Secondly, Hunter' will wear down with use, decreasing its aggression with little to no improvement to the tip's Stamina, meaning that multiple copies much be purchased in order to replace worn ones. Finally, even when in mint condition, the small surface area means that Hunter' will settle to the center incredibly quickly, too quickly for Attack Combinations, however, when paired with parts with high Outward Weight Distribution, this weakness does not apply. While Hunter' features high KO resistance when settled, higher than Defense or Bite, its Stamina is too low for it to be viable.
Unlike its predecessor, Hunter' features a much thicker spring in its locking mechanism, increasing Hunter''s Burst resistance and solves a weakness featured in its predecessor.
