Bakushin (バクシン, Bakushin) is a Fusion Wheel released by Takara Tomy. It debuted in Japan with the release of Bakushin Susanow 90WF bundled with the Metal Fight Beyblade: Bakushin Susanow Attacks! video game on July 15, 2010 and in western countries with the release of Bakushin Susanow 105F bundled with the Beyblade: Metal Fusion video game on November 9, 2010.
Description
Bakushin is a low-recoil Fusion Wheel with good Defense and Stamina capabilities. Despite its official Attack Type classification, Bakushin does not do well in Attack Type combinations as it lacks major points of contact, and has a smooth, round profile. This overall circular shape however, makes Bakushin useful in Defense Type combinations. Bakushin works best when paired with Energy Rings with a similar round profile, such as Leone I or Leone II, or other low-recoil Energy Rings like Tempo. The slanted, round edges of Bakushin also work well against Attack Type combinations, with low risk of knockouts.
Overall
Bakushin finds most use in providing increased Defense in combos, and if paired with a rubber tip such as Rubber Semi-Flat (RSF) or Coating Spike (CS), its risk of knockouts is severely decreased, even with facing against popular Attack Type combos. Bakushin is best used in the WBO's Metal Fight Limited format, where parts that outclass it are banned.
As such, Bakushin is a must-have for competitive Bladers in the WBO's Metal Fight Limited format.
