This article is about the Takara Tomy release. For the Hasbro release, see Fusion Wheel - L-Drago Destructor (Hasbro).

L-Drago Destructor is a Fusion Wheel released by Takara Tomy. It debuted in Japan with the release of the BB-108 Starter L-Drago Destroy F:S on April 23, 2011 and in western countries with the release of the Hyper-Strike Battle Set in December 2012.

In the Takara Tomy release, L-Drago Destroy (エルドラゴデストロイ, Erudorago Desutoroi) is a single component called a "4D Metal Wheel", comprised of a Metal Frame and Core.

The Hasbro release opts to simplify the terminology (as the terms "Metal Frame" and "Core" do not have equivalents), calling the Metal Frame the Destructor Energy Ring and the Core the L-Drago III Fusion Wheel.

Unlike most Fusion Wheels, L-Drago Destructor also replaces the Energy Ring. It is comprised of two parts, the Metal Frame (Energy Ring) and the Core (Fusion Wheel). Like previous L-Drago Wheels, the three-sided Metal Frame is shaped to resemble three dragon heads. It is much wider, has larger gaps between each head, and is significantly heavier than the previous L-Drago Wheels, many of which were notorious for their light weight. The Core contains rubber similar to that of Meteo L-Drago LW105LF, which allows for spin absorption. Takara Tomy gives L-Drago Destructor an "Absorb" stat of 6. The Hasbro release of L-Drago Destructor replaces the stickers with paint.

Metal Frame

  • Weight: 37.9 grams

The Metal Frame is made completely out of metal and resembles the previous L-Drago I and L-Drago II Energy Rings in that it features three dragon heads going in a circular motion. The Metal Frame can also be rotated 180 degrees like previous L-Drago Energy Rings, in order to change between two modes, "Attack Mode" and "Absorb Mode".

  • Weight: 5.8 grams

The Core has six protrusions going around in a circular manner. Being highly made of rubber, it is used to absorb hits and obtain more Stamina, as well as providing extra weight.
