Attack Ring (AR): War Lion[]

  • Weight: 6 grams
Main article: Attack Ring - War Lion

The AR of Galeon Attacker, War Lion, is the prized part of this Beyblade. Although one of the earliest released ARs, it still sees major use years after its release. This AR has both great Defense and Survival properties. Because the AR is so small, it has a tendency to have a high Spin Velocity, which is perfect for Defense types.

However, this AR's Survival properties are the most important. The AR is almost perfectly round, which gives it great endurance because there are very few points of contact at which the Recoil would be strong. However, the true secret to War Lion's Survival capability is in its S-AR. When War Lion is hit and the free-spinning S-AR receives the hit, the Beyblade will receive almost no damage. This is because when the S-AR is hit, only the free-spinning S-AR is hit with the opposing force, while the rest of the Beyblade continues to spin unhindered. A downside is that it breaks easily.

Weight Disk (WD): Eight Heavy[]

  • Weight: 15 grams
Main article: Weight Disk - Eight Heavy

As the name “Heavy” implies, the Heavy series of WDs is the heaviest available weight disk (including WDs not in the Six/Eight/Ten sided category). Due to the heavy weight and the compactness of that weight, the Heavy weight disks are often used for Compact type combos for the simple reason of increased RPM. When the weight of a Beyblade is focused towards the centre (as opposed to a Wide WD where it is focused around the perimeter), its RPM will increase. This weight is also often put to use in Defense oriented customs, with weight being the primary concern in that type. Ten Heavy is the heaviest out of all of the Heavy weight disks, and generally speaking, is chosen over Six and Eight Heavy when customizing.

Spin Gear (SG): Right SG[]

Main article: Spin Gear - Right Spin Gear

Right Spin Gears allow for right spin when used in tandem with Right-Spin Shooters. In a Right-Spin Spin Gear, two tabs (situated close to the right sides of the Spin Gear) would attach to the Right-Spin Shooter, allowing a Beyblade to be spun clockwise.

They have plastic casing surrounding a metal ring and gear which is placed into the Blade Base and held in place by base clips. The core (centre pieces) is not interchangeable in Standard Spin Gears. Different variations have now been released that feature weights, bearings and even an engine inside the Spin Gear.

Blade Base (BB): SG Semi-Flat[]

  • Weight: 5 grams

This part's tip is what gives this BB it’s uniqueness. It is sharp but flattened on the very end. The movement pattern exhibited when launched straight into a BeyStadium is best suited for Endurance purposes. However, when launched on a slant it begins to move in a circular attack-type pattern. Seeing as a flat tip would sacrifice all of its Survival ability while a sharp tip would sacrifice its Defense ability. Being a mixture of both allows it to have very good Balance giving it quite alot of popularity in Compact customization. Here is a sample:
