— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Achilles is a right-spin Gatinko Chip that features an armored face and a sword, meant to represent the Gatinko Chip's namesake; the Greek hero, Achilles. Achilles has a standard weight for Gatinko Chips, and the highest Burst Resistance. Its high Burst Resistance is due to its two hard and two standard locks, the highest lock count of any Gatinko Chip. This gives Achilles high Burst Resistance, even when a Dash Driver is not used. When paired with the Goku Layer Weight, Achilles is the ideal Gatinko Chip to use in right-spin Combinations.

Due to its high Burst Resistance, Achilles is the best right-spin Gatinko Chip. Although a must-have among Gatinko Layer System parts, Gatinko Layer System Energy Layers are too light to be competitive in the current metagame.

As such, Achilles is recommended for collection purposes only.

Due to its high Burst Resistance, Achilles is a must-have if a Blader plans to use a right-spin Layer Base in the WBO's Burst Limited Format. However, as Gatinko Layers are not particularly competitive in this format, it is not a necessity.

As such, Achilles is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.

Achilles is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.

As such, Achilles is recommended for collection purposes only.
