Dragon (ドラゴン, Doragon) is a Gatinko Chip released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It debuted in Japan with the release of the B-154 DX Booster Imperial Dragon Ignition' on November 16th, 2019.
Description
Takara Tomy's Dragon is a right-spin Gatinko Chip that features the side profile of the Gatinko Chip's namesake: a dragon and its claws. Dragon has a standard weight for Gatinko Chips, and high Burst Resistance. Dragon features three hard locks that give Dragon high Burst Resistance, even when a Dash Driver is not used. When paired with the Goku Layer Weight, Dragon is an ideal Gatinko Chip to use in right-spin Combinations.
Overall
Due to its high Burst Resistance, Dragon is one of the best right-spin Gatinko Chips, on par with Achilles. Although a must-have among Gatinko Layer System parts, Gatinko Layer System Energy Layers are too light to be competitive in the current metagame.
As such, Dragon is recommended for collection purposes only.
Due to its high Burst Resistance, Dragon is a must-have if a Blader plans to use a right-spin Layer Base in the WBO's Burst Limited Format. However, as Gatinko Layers are not particularly competitive in this format, it is not a necessity.
As such, Dragon is not a must have but is instead a welcome addition to a blader's collection.
Dragon is not legal in the WBO's Burst Classic Format.
As such, Dragon is recommended for collection purposes only.Products
