Gatling Dragon Karma Charge Metal'-10 (ガトリングドラゴン・カルマ・チャージメタルダッシュ-10, Gatoringu Doragon Karuma Chāji Metaru Dasshu-10) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Dynamite Battle Layer System and the Burst Ultimate Layer Series. It was released as a Booster in Japan on June 25th, 2022 for 1870円.

In the toyline, it is the successor to Tempest Dragon Charge Metal 1A.

DB Core - Dragon

Main article: DB Core - Dragon

Takara Tomy's Dragon is a right-spin DB Core that features the head and claws of a dragon, akin to its predecessors in the Dragon line.

Like the Valkyrie 1 DB Core, Dragon features a gimmick: when struck by an opponent, a built-in spring mechanism causes the DB Core to rebound, which allows a Dragon combination to perform Bound Attacks. While in theory this improves Attack potential, in practice this gimmick is to the detriment of an Attack combination, as the rebound, combined with strong impacts, can cause the combination to Burst. It is thus better suited in Defense and Stamina combinations, where the gimmick increases Defense.

While Dragon is functionally similar to Valkyrie 1, it has stronger Burst Resistance and a more compressed spring. The more compressed spring of Dragon means it has a shorter rebound distance than Valkyrie 1, while retaining the defensive properties of the gimmick.

BU Blade - Gatling

Main article: BU Blade - Gatling

Takara Tomy's Gatling is a right-spin Attack Type BU Blade that features a round shape with two movable blades, akin to its predecessors Imperial and Tempest. As part of the Dynamite Battle Layer System, Gatling is compatible with any right-spin or dual-spin DB Core. As a BU Blade, Gatling features a gimmick: Gatling can switch from its "Slashing Hit Mode" to its "Consecutive Hit Mode" when struck during battle. In "Slashing Hit Mode", the dragon jaws are shut, and Gatling has a circular shape. When the "Consecutive Hit Mode" is activated, the dragon jaws open, and the movable blades retract inside Gatling, creating an elliptical shape. Despite its Attack Type classification, Gatling has a poor shape for right-spin Attack combinations, and only finds niche usage in Stamina combinations in Opposite-Spin matchups.

Armor - 10

Main article: Armor - 10

Takara Tomy's 10 is an Armor with triangular shapes at ten points. This design creates a stable weight distribution and high Stamina, as its weight is evenly distributed among ten points. As such, it is highly versatile and one of the most useful Armors, and finds the most use in Defense and Stamina combinations.

Forge Disc - Karma

DiskKarma
Main article: Forge Disc - Karma

Karma is a DB Disc with ten upward sloping blades along its perimeter, meant to create Upper Force in left-spin and Down Force in right-spin. It is essentially the DB Disc version of Nine. In theory, the blades increase the grip of the Beyblade on the Stadium floor with Down Force and decrease the friction between the Beyblade and the Stadium floor with Upper Force. In practice however, the effect is negligible and the blades reduce the Life-After-Death (LAD) of Karma. Due to its shape and weight distribution, Karma works best in Attack combinations.

Performance Tip - Charge Metal'

DriverChargeMetal'
Main article: Performance Tip - Charge Metal'

Charge Metal' is a wide, round Performance Tip with a flat metal tip. Unlike the original Charge, Charge Metal features more metal in its design, with the tip being hollow and being made of metal. The low friction of the metal tip combined with the hollow design gives it higher Stamina than the original Charge. In theory the incorporation of metal throughout its design increases its weight and creates high inertia. In practice, Charge Metal' does not generate enough speed to deliver strong hits.

Like other Dash Performance Tips, Charge Metal' features a stronger spring lock, increasing the Performance Tip's Burst Resistance.
