Glide Hyperion 7Bump Survive 1D (グライドハイペリオン・セブンバンプ・サバイブ・1D, Guraido Haiperion Sebun Banpu Sabaibu 1D) is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Superking Layer System. It was released in Japan on April 25th, 2020 for 1100円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 20.

Superking Chip - Hyperion

Takara Tomy's Hyperion 1[1] (or simply Hyperion) is a right-spin Superking Chip that features a side profile of the Superking Chip's namesake, Hyperion, an epithet used by Helios, the god of the sun in Greek mythology. It is the first of two Hyperion Superking Chips.

Hyperion 1 has an average weight for Superking Chips, and is thus outclassed by heavier right-spin Superking Chips such as Hyperion 2 and Solomon, which have metal, as well as Diabolos and Spriggan, which has the versatility of dual-spin capabilities. Since the differences between most Superking Chips is only cosmetic, it is recommended to use the aforementioned Superking Chips over Hyperion 1, as they offer additional advantages.

Ring - Glide

A right-spin Stamina Type Ring with a smooth-shaped blade that fends off the opponent's attack and three stamina wings that open and close to super-strengthen the centrifugal force.
— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Glide is a right-spin Stamina Type Ring that features three big colored wings and three small and clear wings, akin to a three-sided version of its predecessor Crash Ragnaruk. As part of the Superking Layer System, Glide is compatible with any right-spin or dual-spin Superking Chip and Chassis.

The three-sided shape comes with its benefits and mishaps. On one hand, the three-sided shape makes the contact points smaller so that each one of them is weaker, but it also means that there are more gaps, which means that a combo with Glide will experience more recoil in battle. Furthermore, Glide keeps the same "Stamina Wings" gimmick from its predecessors Blaze Ragnaruk and Crash Ragnaruk. The intended purpose of this gimmick is to parry incoming attacks with the pivoting clear wings, but the effect is negligible at best. Another drawback of Glide is that it has a thin underside that holds itself and the Superking Chip that's attached very close to the Chassis, poorly exposing the teeth on the Chassis, granting below average Burst Resistance. However, the Burst risk can be mitigated by using a Double Chassis. Due to the relatively round shape with semi-aggressive contact points, Glide performs well in Defense/Stamina and Attack/Stamina Combinations.

As a three-sided Ring, Glide lines up with the 2A and 2S Chassis due to its three-sided shape, which applies more weight on the major contact points to make them hit opponents harder.

Chassis - 1D

Chassis1D
Main article: Chassis - 1D

1D or 1-Defense is a dual-spin Defense Type Single Chassis with a blocky perimeter. As a Single Chassis, 1D, along with a Superking Chip and Ring, completes a Superking Layer that can be used with a Disc. 1D is the worst of the three available Single Chassis (the others being 1S and 4A), as it has poor Weight Distribution, poor Life-After-Death, and weighs two-thirds of the weight of 1S.

Forge Disc - 7

Disk7
Main article: Forge Disc - 7

7, like other odd numbered Core Discs, is an asymmetrical, elliptical disc that can facilitate a Disc Frame. 7 is designed similar to Gravity or Heavy, with seven designs jutting out that resemble the number "7". At first glance, the Disc looks unbalanced, but in reality, two of the sections on one side being halves makes it balanced. 7 is one of the heaviest Discs thus far, outclassed only by 10 and 0, and has a ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential without the severe Burst Risk of 8. With the use of Disc Frames, 7 can be used to great effect in any Combination.

Disc Frame - Bump

FrameBump
Main article: Disc Frame - Bump

Bump is a round Disc Frame with numerous protrusions to give it a rough perimeter. While too small to come into contact with the opponent's Layer, Bump is one of the thickest and thus heaviest Frames in the game, heavier than Meteor, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7. While the round shape may imply high Life-After-Death, the rough perimeter makes it outclassed for Defense and Stamina by Glaive and Cross.

Performance Tip - Survive

DriverSurvive
Main article: Performance Tip - Survive

Survive is a Performace Tip with a low-angled cone shape protruding from a cylinder. As a result, while it is overpowered by some Heavy Defense Combinations, it has still shown to be useful in Stamina-based Burst Combinations.

However, it can also be used as a Defense Performance Tip in absence of better ones, and while it is outclassed, its shape helps it rebound from attacks and prevent Knock-Outs. While good ball-shaped or rubber sharp Performance Tips lack in Beyblade Burst, Survive has enough Stability to take hits without losing all balance and Precessing too early like sharper tips.
