Gordo is an antagonist in the Original Series, consisting of Beyblade: V-Force. He is Zeo Zagart's partner in the Beyblade World Championships. His Bit-Beast and Beyblade are Orthros.

Appearance

Gordo is a young tall boy with Shonen Hair with a Mohawk, but still has a long tail in the back. He's light-skinned in the anime, but his overall look leaves no doubt he was designed to be a dark-skinned redhead.

Personality

He doesn't fit the associated personality, but that might be part of his and Zeo's elemental reversal. He and Zeo form one, respectively representing ice and fire. The usual color schemes are maintained for the beys but are reversed for the bladers.

Plot

Beyblade: V-Force

He was chosen by Dr. Zagart out of hundreds of beybladers to help Zeo train and capture the four Sacred Bit-Beasts Dragoon, Dranzer, Draciel & Driger. Gordo's first task was to get Zeo to bring out his Bit-Beast, Cerberus. After 43 attempts, he and Zeo finally succeed in bringing out Cerberus. When Dr. Zagart decides to enter Zeo in the Beyblade World Championships, he decides Gordo will be Zeo's partner. Zagart then gives Gordo the Beyblade Orthros. He and Zeo both seem to get along well.

In the first round of the championships, Gordo and Dunga compete against each other, but Gordo has no particular problems defeating Dunga. In the next round, Gordo is the first to attack Ray; Gordo and Zeo have clear advantages in the match as they have been coached by Zagart. This calculates Kai and Ray's moves in training and teaches Gordo and Zeo to fight the strengths of Ray and Kai and to fall to the weaknesses. At the beginning of the match, it looks like Gordo will win against Ray because although Ray's Driger has a very high spin speed, he can not defeat Gordo's Orthros. During the match, Ray is getting weaker and Driger's power is already at the lowest level. Suddenly Ray uses his mental strength and finally brings it to a draw.

In the finals of the tournament, he faces Tyson and is defeated by his Dragoon V2, destroying Orthros's bit-chip.

Beyblade

Template:Bit Beast Gordo received Orthros from Dr. Zagart. The Beyblade is equipped with a heavy blade base for stronger attacks along with a light Attack Ring for quick dodges as seen in Gordo's match with Ray. It is balanced in both Attack and Endurance. This Beyblade contains the power of one of the Rock Bit-Beast's Orthros. It is shown to be powerful considering it can hold its own against another Rock Bit-Beast, Burning Kerberous. It also easily overpowered Dunga's Vortex Ape & was able to match up against Ray's Driger V2.

Zeo is Gordo's partner in the World Championship finals. He and Zeo both seem to get along well. They often train together.
