Grand Dragon Aero'Lift Flugel Go (グランドドラゴン・エアロダッシュリフト・フリューゲル・轟, Gurando Doragon Earo Dasshu Rifuto Furyūgeru Gō), stylized as Grand Dragon αero'Lift Flugel Go, is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy as part of the Burst System as well as the Gatinko Layer System. It was released in Japan on February 22nd, 2020 for 660円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 19.

Layer Base - Grand

Main article: Layer Base - Grand
A Stamina Type Base that produces a strong centrifugal force by removing the inner lightning and two large blades that are almost circular.
— Official Description

Grand is a Stamina Type Layer Base that features two dragon heads that form the main points of contact with large wings, akin to a reversed Driger Slash. Like other Stamina Bases, Grand exposes less of a Gatinko Chip's teeth, slightly reducing the Chip's Burst resistance.

Despite the round shape, the size of the gaps between the wings and dragon heads creates sizable recoil, making Grand ill-suited for Stamina purposes. Furthermore, the wings themselves are hollow, reducing Outward-Weight-Distribution and subsequent Stamina potential. Finally, due to the nature of the Gatinko Layer System, much of the Grand Base's weight will not be concentrated at the edges of the Layer, but closer to the center due to the shape of Layer Weights, further reducing Stamina potential.

Forge Disc - Aero'

Main article: Forge Disc - Aero'

Aero' is a Core Disc and remaster of the Aero Forge Disc. It is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Despite its name, Aero' bears little resemblance to its predecessor. At about 16.7 grams, Aero' is very underweight compared to other Core Discs, and one of the lightest Forge Discs, only beaten by 12. Due to its light weight, Aero' is heavily outclassed by virtually all other Core Discs, which have since been replaced by other heavier Forge Discs.

Disc Frame - Lift

Main article: Disc Frame - Lift

Lift is a thick Frame with numerous protrusions to give it a rough perimeter. The thickness of the Frame is meant to accommodate Lift's gimmick; the Frame can be flipped to expose a different perimeter for an "Attack Mode" and a "Defense Mode", akin to Zero-G Beyblade's SA160 track.

Lift's "Defense Mode" features a round perimeter akin to Bump which is meant to parry hits from the opponent and reduce recoil during Disc-to-Layer contact while Lift's "Attack Mode" features a perimeter akin to Under which is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. Despite the ineffective gimmick, Lift's size makes it the heaviest Frame at the time of writing, heavier than Bump, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7, 10 and 0.

However, Lift's size also makes it a severe scrape and Stamina risk, making it difficult to achieve banking patterns and making Stationary Combinations scrape even at relatively high spin velocities. Even on Destroy Combinations, where Destroy's design would prevent tipping over, this risk is still heavily present. Furthermore, both modes have perimeters too rough to add Life-After-Death, further exacerbating the Stamina issue further.

Performance Tip - Flugel

Main article: Performance Tip - Flugel

Flugel features a low angled cone tip that sits at the standard height akin to Survive, but differs by featuring four wings, akin to Metal Fight Beyblade's Down Force 145, that offer Upper Force in Right-Spin and Down Force in Left-Spin.

The cone shape gives Flugel low surface area and friction to conserve Stamina in battle while also providing Stability, giving a Combination resistance against the Layer scraping against the Stadium floor and losing Stamina.

In theory, when used in Right-Spin Combinations, the Upper Force would increase Stamina by generating an air current that "lifts" the Beyblade off of the stadium, effectively reducing the friction between Flugel and the stadium. When used in Left-Spin Combinations, the Down Force generated would push the Beyblade down into the stadium and increase Stability at the cost of Stamina. However in practice, the small size of the wings means that any Upper Force or Down Force generated is minimal with no discernible difference in performance.
