Face Bolt - Destroyer

The Destroyer Face Bolt depicts "Perseus", a Greek hero and one of the 88 constellations in space. In Greek mythology, Perseus slayed the gorgon "Medusa" by cutting off her head. He later used the head of Medusa to defeat "Cetus". The design displays a Greek gladiator helmet design, with the name "Perseus" written below it. When the Face Bolt is viewed upside down, it resembles the head of Medusa, a reference to Gravity Perseus' Special Move, Eyes of Medusa.

Energy Ring - Destroyer

Main article: Energy Ring - Destroyer

Destroyer is a Dual Spin Energy Ring designed to work in tandem with the Gravity Fusion Wheel. Destroyer features a mode change gimmick; when the Destroyer Energy Ring is rotated 180 degrees, it can switch between "Counter Mode" and "Defense Mode". Depending on the mode, the "eyes" of the Gravity Fusion Wheel will be covered by the Energy Ring.

The standard, "Defense" version of Destroyer features three longer, helmet-like protrusions, and three stubby protrusions between each of the longer ones. The difference between these enables the mode change; with the long "helmet" protrusions over the "eyes" of the Gravity Fusion Wheel, the Beyblade is in "Defense Mode", while the other mode, with the "eyes" under the short protrusions, is "Counter Mode".

Fusion Wheel - Gravity

Main article: Fusion Wheel - Gravity

Gravity is intended to be used with the Destroyer line of Energy Rings. As such, it features three curved pockets meant for a Destroyer Energy Ring to rest in. Gravity is a thick Fusion Wheel, and is dual spin, lacking the protrusions that usually prevent a Fusion Wheel from being used with the wrong direction launcher. When a Destroyer Energy Ring is rotated 180 degrees, Gravity Destroyer can switch between "Counter Mode" and "Defense Mode", covering the "eyes" of Gravity depending on the mode.

In Defense Mode, the Energy Ring covers the jagged protrusions, increasing metal on plastic contact, reducing recoil. In Counter Mode, these jagged protrusions are exposed, leading to high recoil and an increase in Smash Attack.

Spin Track - Armor Defense 145

Main article: Spin Track - Armor Defense 145

Armor Defense 145 (AD145) is shaped like the head of a funnel, being primarily circular with two curved protrusions that line down in order to act as "armor". There are also two smaller protrusions between it, creating gaps. Like Gravity, even though Armor Defense 145 was intended for Defense Type combinations, it was overshadowed by Spin Tracks like GB145 and 230 as it cannot absorb hits as efficiently and is too light. However, due to this, Armor Defense 145 has found use as a top-tier Spin Track for Stamina combinations because of its unique design.

Performance Tip - Wide Defense

Main article: Performance Tip - Wide Defense

Wide Defense (WD), as its name implies, is the widest (along with Wave Wide Defense (W2D) and Eternal Wide Defense (EWD)) of the "Defense" series of Performance Tips (D, SD, WD, W2D, EWD and PD). The wide surface area prevents the Beyblade from being knocked over easily. In addition, Wide Defense is able to wobble at a larger angle and for a longer period of time than Defense. However, low spin rate is created towards the end of a battle because in the process of wobbling at such a large angle, more friction is made with the stadium floor, thus decreasing its stamina. Although its name suggests defensive characteristics, Wide Defense does not possess any inherent defensive qualities. Wide Defense finds most use in providing increased stamina in combos.
