1 is a Gravity Ring released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System and QuadStrike System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Xcalius Power Speed Launcher Set.
Description
Hasbro's 1 is a Gravity Ring based on Takara Tomy's 1 Armor. As such it has the same asymmetrical design as Takara Tomy's 1. Unlike its Takara Tomy counterpart however, it is made of plastic instead of metal, and as such its weight has been reduced. The position of the point where weight is supposed to be concentrated has also been moved, to align with the modified design of Hasbro's Xiphoid QS Blade.
In theory, the asymmetrical design of 1 creates an imbalanced weight distribution that increases Attack power. In practice however, since Gravity Rings like 1 are plastic instead of metal like Takara Tomy's Armors, the differences in performance are negligible.
Overall
QuadDrive System Layers are heavily outclassed by releases from Takara Tomy in the Cho-Z Layer System and onward.
As such, Hasbro's 1 is recommended for collection purposes only.
Given that all Gravity Rings are plastic, there is no reason to use or not use Hasbro's 1 over other Gravity Rings.
