10' is a Gravity Ring released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the QuadDrive System. It debuted in western countries with the release of the Katana Muramasa M7 and Vanish Cobra C7 Dual Pack.
Description
Hasbro's 10' is a Gravity Ring based on Takara Tomy's 10 Armor. As such it retains the same general shape as 10, with minor design alterations. In theory, 10' has its weight distributed evenly at ten points to enhance stability. In practice however, since all Gravity Rings are plastic instead of metal like Takara Tomy's Armors, they are all around the same weight and offer no differences in performance, with the main difference between them being only aesthetic. As any differences in the weight distribution of a Combination are negligible, it is difficult to suggest using a particular Gravity Ring over another. Furthermore, most QuadDrive Layers are lightweight and thus outclassed by heavier Layers.
Overall
QuadDrive Layers are heavily outclassed in the format by Takara Tomy's Dynamite Battle Layers.
As such, 10' is not recommended for the Burst Format.
In the Burst GT Format, QuadDrive Layers are outclassed by heavier Takara Tomy Gatinko Layers.
As such, 10' is not recommended for the Burst GT Format.
Since all Gravity Rings are plastic, there is no reason to use (or not use) 10' over other Gravity Rings.
As such, 10' is not recommended for the Burst Limited Format.
QuadDrive Layers and 10' are not legal in the Burst Classic Format.
