GT Chip - Pegasus
- Main article: GT Chip - Pegasus
Pegasus is a Gatinko Chip that depicts the head and wings of Pegasus, a winged stallion from Greek mythology. Pegasus features a standard weight for Gatinko Chips, and two Locks; while one Lock is of a standard thickness, the second Lock is particularly thick, and intended to prevent the final click before Bursting.
Hasbro's Pro Series Pegasus is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Pegasus, but manufactured with weaker materials.
Layer Weight - Sen
- Main article: Layer Weight - Sen
In-depth information for Takara Tomy's Sen Layer Weight will be placed here once drafting has been completed for it. Please be patient.
Layer Base - Harmony
- Main article: Layer Base - Harmony (Pro)
Heaven is a Right-Spin Defense Type Layer Base and is the opposite of Dread, as it features four counterclockwise blades that have two gaps in between them, and features a gimmick; the damage recovery system.
The sub-layer moves in order to allowed 2 yellow 'wings' to be released with every click from the Layer Base. When an opponent strikes Heaven once the wings are fully released, they will retract and restore the locking mechanism to its original position.
Hasbro's Pro Series Harmony is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Heaven. but manufactured with weaker materials.
Forge Disc - 10
- Main article: Forge Disc - 10
10, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features five protrusions, each molded into the shape of a "10". The protrusions extend further from the center more than other Core Discs which grants 10 high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Stamina potential. Furthermore, the size of the protrusions makes 10 one of the heaviest Core Discs at the time of writing, heavier than 7 but less than 0, and grants an ideal weight distribution for Stamina Combinations. Its high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) grants it not only the highest Stamina potential out of all other Core Discs, but its weight grants it high Attack and Defense potential. With the use of Frames, 10 can be used to great effect in any Combination.
Disc Frame - Expand
- Main article: Disc Frame - Expand
Expand is a round, wide Disc Frame with four smooth blades, with six gaps in total. This design, like the Maximum Garuda and Air Knight Energy Layers, is intended to produce Upper Force. In theory this Upper Force will help "lift" the Beyblade, lowering friction between the Performance Tip and the stadium floor to improve Stamina. In practice however, the blades instead create air resistance when spinning and slow the Beyblade down. The round design of Expand creates high Stamina and Life-After-Death (LAD), as its wide shape prevents the Energy Layer from touching the stadium floor when the Beyblade is tilting. Its LAD capabilities are comparable to those of other popular Disc Frames such as Cross, Glaive and Proof.
Performance Tip - Revolve
- Main article: Performance Tip - Revolve
Revolve features a sharp tip of a small diameter surrounded by a free spinning ring. The sharp tip of Revolve provides low friction with the stadium floor, resulting in high Stamina and Burst Defense properties. While the small diameter of the sharp tip may imply easy Destabilization, the wide diameter of the free spinning ring helps maintain Stability. The wide diameter of the ring also provides Revolve high Precession time which is useful against Opposite-Spin and Mobile Stamina Combinations. Furthermore, when launched at an angle, the free spinning ring of Revolve makes more contact with the stadium floor resulting in decent Knock-Out Resistance, however said Knock-Out Resistance still lags behind that of Orbit and Atomic due to the lower surface area and some Beyblades that are off center are easier to Burst.
Hasbro later reprinted Takara Tomy's B-36 release in the Pro Series Heaven Pegasus 10Proof Low Sen Starter Pack, albeit with weaker plastic.
