Hazard Kerbeus K4 00Hit Guard, known as Hazard Kerbeus 00Hit Guard (ハザードケルベウス・ダブルオーヒット・ガード, Hazādo Kerubeusu Daburuō Hitto Gādo) in Japan, is a Defense Type Beyblade released as part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. It was released in Japan on July 20th, 2019 for 1080円 as one of eight possible Beyblades in Random Booster Vol. 16 Flare Dragon.Ar.Pl Sen.

Energy Layer - Hazard Kerbeus K4

Main article: Energy Layer - Hazard Kerbeus K4
Hazard Kerbeus is a Defense Type Energy Layer with two large blades and features three dog heads down the center, meant to represent the Layer's namesake, the mythological three headed hound Cerberus. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Hazard Kerbeus features metal in its design; in this case, the two blades are lined with metal in the shape of chains. The inclusion of metal makes the Layer heavier than most SwitchStrike/God Layers.

Hazard Kerbeus also features a gimmick; the two blades are capable of bending inwards to create "Bound Defense", akin to Jerk, Screw Trident, Deep Chaos, and the Layer's predecessor Guardian Kerbeus. Unlike its predecessor however, Hazard Kerbeus uses torsion springs with much greater flexibility.

Hazard Kerbeus features teeth of medium length, akin to Kaiser Kerbeus. While this along with the greater flexibility of the gimmick may imply high Burst resistance, in practice, the sharp protrusions from the muzzles of the dog heads creates points of heavy recoil. Furthermore, the short distance traveled by the blades makes the gimmick relatively ineffective. These factors create a Burst risk that the teeth of the Layer are unable to compensate for.

Like many other Cho-Z Layers, Hazard Kerbeus is unbalanced; which increases the risk of Bursts, makes it liable to break Banking Patterns and drains Stamina. However, these issues can be solved with the use of a Level Chip that fits underneath the Layer.

Forge Disc - 00

In-depth information for the 00 Forge Disc will be placed here once drafting has been completed for it. Please be patient.

Disc Frame - Hit

Main article: Disc Frame - Hit
Hit features a single protrusion on one side of the Frame, akin to 1. Such a shape is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. While the round shape of the Frame may imply high Life After Death, the protrusion warps the perimeter and reduces Life After Death potential compared to Cross and Glaive and compared to Frames such as Meteor and Bump, Hit is too light to aid in Attack Combinations.

Performance Tip - Guard

Main article: Performance Tip - Guard
Guard features a ball shaped tip surrounded by a downward facing dish that freely moves vertically, akin to Zero-G Beyblade's E230 Track. In theory the dish is meant to make contact with the stadium floor when the Beyblade is struck, forcing it back upright, acting as brakes to prevent a KO while the vertical movement of the dish is meant to prevent Stamina loss. In practice however, the vertical movement prevents the dish from stabilizing a Combination on the shallow curvature of the stadium and because the dish does not spin freely, it causes the Beyblade to accelerate instead of stopping which worsens Destabilization further.

Unlike other ball based Performance Tips, Guard's tip does not features any tabs as their purpose had been integrated into the dish. However, the relatively smooth rim of the dish and its vertical movement nullifies most of its KO resistance with greater Stamina loss and the small diameter of the tip does little to stop the Beyblade. While the smooth ball would imply greater Stamina than Defense, the aforementioned dish nullifies any Stamina benefit.
