Hell Salamander 0 Unite (ヘルサラマンダー・ゼロ・ユナイト, Heru Saramandā Zero Yunaito) is a Balance Type Beyblade that's a part of the Burst System as well as the Cho-Z Layer System. As an anime-exclusive Beyblade, it was never released. It debuted in Beyblade Burst Rise as Delta Zakuro's first Beyblade before he obtained Venom Diabolos Vanguard Bullet.

Energy Layer - Hell Salamander

Main article: Energy Layer - Hell Salamander
The motif is of the fire dragon, Salamander. A Cho-Z Layer that can be changed from a Defense mode by hitting the 10 blades repeatedly to the Attack mode with 5 overlapping blades.
— Official Description

Takara Tomy's Hell Salamander is a Balance Type Energy Layer with ten blades. The top of the Layer features a dragon's head meant to representing the anime's rendition of this Layer's Beast, a dragon, and the Layer's namesake; the mythical Salamander which feeds on and lives in fire. As part of the Cho-Z Layer System, Hell Salamander features metal in its design; in this case, five of the ten blades are lined with metal. The inclusion of metal makes Hell Salamander heavier than most God Layers.

Hell Salamander also features gimmicks; the Layer is Left-Spin and the blades can move to create two modes, "Defense Mode" and "Attack Mode".

In Defense Mode, the metal and plastic blades are kept apart to create ten blades which reduces the gap in between the blades and creates a rounder, lower recoil design, akin to Wyvern. This, combined with the Left-Spin nature of Hell Salamander, reduces recoil against Right-Spin opponents due to the Layers acting akin to gears which heavily reduces the rate of Bursts. Furthermore, the clockwise direction of the blades also reduce recoil, even against other Left-Spin opponents.

In Attack Mode, the metal and plastic blades become consolidated into five blades which increases the gap in between the blades and creates an aggressive, recoil heavy design against other Left-Spin opponents. However, due to Hell Salamander's Left-Spin nature, recoil potential is significantly reduced against Right-Spin opponents.

Finally, the placement of the metal grants higher inertia that increases both Knock-Out and Burst Attack in Attack Mode, increases the Layer's Burst Resistance in both modes as the high inertia resists teeth skipping, a property that heavily compensates for its medium length teeth and increases Stamina in both modes, giving Hell Salamander equal or greater Stamina than Crash Ragnaruk.

Like many other Cho-Z Layers, Hell Salamander is unbalanced, though not to the same degree as others, which increases Burst risk and drains Stamina. However, these issues can be solved with the use of a Level Chip that fits underneath the Layer.

Forge Disc - 0

Main article: Forge Disc - 0

0 is a symmetrical Forge Disc that's elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features one protrusion, each wide and smooth enough to almost make the Forge Disc perfectly circular if not for the notches needed to add a Disc Frame and a molded "0" on each side. The protrusions extend further and are thicker than most other Forge Discs which makes 0 one of the heaviest Forge Discs and implies high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and Stamina potential. In reality however, more weight is focused towards the center, which creates Centralized Weight Distribution (CWD) that reduces its Stamina to that of 2's. As such, 0 is outclassed by 7 for Stamina Combinations but 0's greater weight makes it ideal for Attack and Defense Combinations. Furthermore, the round shape of 0 creates high Life-After-Death, even without the use of Disc Frames such as Cross. While the weight can increase the risk of Bursts, the weight of most SwitchStrike/God Layers and Cho-Z Layers can compensate.

Performance Tip - Unite

Main article: Performance Tip - Unite

Unite features a flat rubber tip with a sharp plastic tip in the center that sits at the standard height. When launched straight down into the stadium, the sharp tip in the center will keep the Beyblade stable and still in the center, preventing Stamina loss.

When a mint condition Unite is either knocked off balance by an opponent or launched at an angle, the rubber will make contact with the stadium, creating an aggressive movement pattern with speeds similar to Xtreme. However this aggressive movement is somewhat unreliable as the sharp center can slow it down in the center of the stadium or stop the movement entirely.

When worn however, instead of creating aggressive movement when struck, the rubber will instead act as brakes against a Knock-Out, at the cost of Stamina, before going back to the center of the Stadium due to the sharp tip.
