Hells Scythe 3-80F (ヘルズサイズ3-80F, Heruzu Saizu 3-80F; Hells Scythe Three Eighty Flat) or SP X Bey (スペシャルクロスベイ, Supesharu Kurosu Bei; Special Cross Bey) is an Attack Type Beyblade released by Takara Tomy in Japan for 1750円. It can be obtained with a mail order postcard included with the February 2024 issue of the CoroCoro Comic magazine, which released on January 15th, 2024.[1] The first batch of orders were shipped on January 27th, 2024. The deadline for the mail order was February 17th, 2024.[2]
The coloring is based on Team Persona's colors and the Gear Chip design is by Beyblade X manga artist Posuka Demizu. Included with the Beyblade is a "dress-up" sticker sheet and an illustration card.
In the manga, the Beyblade is owned by Robin Kazami, who created it with the help of Jaxon Cross and Multi Nana-iro. It is intended to represent the friendship of Team Persona, and contains a part from each of their first Beys when they met.[3]
Blade - Hells Scythe
- Main article: Blade - Hells Scythe
Scythe Incendio (Japanese: HellsScythe) is a round four-sided Balance Type Blade with four blades acting as the main contact points. The Gear Chip features a flaming skull representing the Grim Reaper.
The round shape creates excellent Stamina and Hells Scythe is among the heaviest non-Attack Type Blades released. Its high Stamina and heavy weight has made it a popular choice in Stamina combinations, often paired with the Ball (B) Bit. The high performance and relatively low skill floor of Hells Scythe Stamina combinations has led to frequent top placements in tournaments since its release.
While Hells Scythe has excellent raw Stamina, it suffers from high recoil due to the gaps in its four blades. As such, Hells Scythe has low Knockout (KO) Defense, although this recoil can also knock back Attackers into the Over or Xtreme Zones. Hells Scythe also has a small amount of Smash Attack, which allows it to be used in Anti-Attack Balance combinations.
Ratchet - 3-80
- Main article: Ratchet - 3-80
The 3-80 Ratchet features 3 identical protrusions at a 8.0 millimeter height.
Bit - Flat
- Main article: Bit - Flat
Flat or F is an Attack Type Bit that features a flat tip with a shallow circular indentation in the center. The flat tip creates aggressive movement, which makes it easier to contact the Xtreme Line (X-Celerator Rail) to perform the Xtreme Dash gimmick.
Flat has a shorter variant, Low Flat (LF), which has a tip that is about 1 millimeter shorter.
