Ian Garcia is a recurring character in the Metal Saga, first appearing in Beyblade: Metal Masters. He is a member of Team Garcias.
In Shogun Steel, he becomes a leader of DNA along with the rest of Team Garcias.
Appearance
Ian is a tall, slim Brazilian male with black, puffed hair and brown eyes. He wears a dark gray top over a green shirt and wears light brown pants with white parts on the top and with bottom pockets, also held with black belt and gold buckle. He also wears brown cuffs on his arms and brown shoes.
In Shogun Steel, he retains his previous hairstyle but he now wears silver-framed glasses. He now wears a black suit, which is over a blue-collared shirt, and black shoes. He also wears a white tie to finish his outfit.
Personality
Beyblade: Metal Masters
Ian debuted on TV as he was defeated by Zeo Abyss. He was next seen with the rest of Team Garcia when they ambushed Yu Tendo to damage his Libra. He stepped up in their elimination match against Team Gan Gan Galaxy to face Gingka Hagane who had just eliminated Ian's sister Selen Garcia. He then battled Gingka until he was defeated as well. During the battle, Ian tried to use the advantage of the Cyclone stadium and the continuous use of the famous cyclone attack to try and overwhelm Gingka.
Ian returned when Team Garcias sided with the HD Academy. He faced Nile and Team Wild Fang to try and stop them while in Hades City. Even though he had several HD Beybladers by his side Ian was defeated by Nile.
Beyblade: Metal Fury
Ian entered the Destroyer Dome, where he and Argo seem to have a conflict with Selen and Enso. After everyone else is knocked out he and Argo attack Tsubasa, Zeo and Toby with their special moves and in the clash of special move, but Ian and Argo end up losing.
Beyblade: Shogun Steel
In Shogun Steel, he appears along with the Garcias as the founders of the evil organization, DNA, which Doji (who was turned into light energy after his death) helped them set up. They are later overthrown by Doji and Kira Hayama.
