Knockout Odax 11Lift Octa Gou is a Stamina Type Beyblade released by Hasbro as part of the Burst System as well as the Pro Series System. It was released in western countries as a Pro Series Starter Pack for USD$22.99 in the United States.
GT Chip - Odax
- Main article: GT Chip - Odax
Odin is a right-spin Gatinko Chip that features the face of Odin, father of Thor in Norse mythology. Odin has a standard weight for Gatinko Chips and high Burst Resistance. Odin features a hard Lock that gives it high Burst Resistance, even when a Dash Driver is not used. When paired with the Goku Layer Weight, Odin is an excellent Gatinko Chip to use in right-spin Combinations.
Hasbro's Odax is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Odin, but manufactured with weaker materials.
Layer Weight - Gou

In-depth information for the Gou Layer Weight will be placed here once drafting has been completed for it. Please be patient.
Layer Base - Knockout
- Main article: Layer Base - Knockout
Knockout is a Right-Spin Attack Type Layer Base that features an overall elliptical design with two flat blades acting as the main contact points. As part of the Gatinko Layer System, Knockout is compatible with any Right-Spin or Dual-Spin Gatinko Chip. While its aggressive shape has moderate Attack potential, Knockout is outclassed by Judgement for right-spin Attack Type Layer Bases.
Hasbro's Pro Series release is virtually unchanged from Takara Tomy's Knockout, but manufactured with weaker materials.
Forge Disc - 11
- Main article: Forge Disc - 11
11, unlike most other odd numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Frame. Each side features one large protrusion to create the visage of an "11" with one protrusion featuring a large "1" shaped indent to create an unbalanced design, however the shallow depth of the indent creates no noticeable effect. Compared to other Core Discs, 11 is one of the lightest, even lighter than most non-Core Discs. This light weight severely hinders 11's Attack, Defense and Stamina potential and while the light weight would create high Burst Resistance, the heavy weight of the SwitchStrike/God Layer System and the Cho-Z Layer System makes the use of lightweight Discs for Burst Resistance obsolete.
Disc Frame - Lift
- Main article: Disc Frame - Lift
Lift is a thick Frame with numerous protrusions to give it a rough perimeter. The thickness of the Frame is meant to accommodate Lift's gimmick; the Frame can be flipped to expose a different perimeter for an "Attack Mode" and a "Defense Mode", akin to Zero-G Beyblade's SA160 track.
Lift's "Defense Mode" features a round perimeter akin to Bump which is meant to parry hits from the opponent and reduce recoil during Disc-to-Layer contact while Lift's "Attack Mode" features a perimeter akin to Under which is meant to increase Burst Attack during Disc-to-Layer contact. However, due to most Burst Performance Tips being of the same or very similar heights, such contact is rare. Despite the ineffective gimmick, Lift's size makes it the heaviest Frame at the time of writing, heavier than Bump, which grants high Attack potential when paired with Core Discs such as 7, 10 and 0.
However, Lift's size also makes it a severe scrape and Stamina risk, making it difficult to achieve banking patterns and making Stationary Combinations scrape even at relatively high spin velocities. Even on Destroy Combinations, where Destroy's design would prevent tipping over, this risk is still heavily present. Furthermore, both modes have perimeters too rough to add Life-After-Death, further exacerbating the Stamina issue further.
Performance Tip - Octa
- Main article: Performance Tip - Octa
Octa is a driver with an octagonal metal piece and 4 holes and an octagonal shaped pattern that it expands into a dome. The metal piece will make it one of the heaviest drivers implying Knock-Out Resistance. Near Octa’s spring lock, there are bumps, which increase friction on the burst locks causing Burst Resistance. However, there are drawbacks of Octa as well:
First, the heavy weight decreases Octa’s Burst Resistance as a trade-off even with the bumps at the end of the battle where the Octa combination slows down. Second, Octa lacks behind Atomic for Life-After-Death due to the octagonal design which nullifies Life-After-Death. Finally, due to segments on Octa, the tip has poor stamina and lags behind already outclassed tips such as Survive. Despite being a rare item, Octa is useless for tournament play.
