Kreis Satan 8Flow Press is a Defense Type Beyblade that's a part of the Burst System as well as the God Layer System. As an anime-exclusive Beyblade, it was never released.
Energy Layer - Kreis Satan[]
- Main article: Energy Layer - Kreis Satan
Takara Tomy's Kreis Satan is a round and thick Energy Layer designed for Defense. Off of the side of the God Chip is a face that is meant to depict this Layer's namesake, the Biblical fallen angel Satan. Consisting of a hexagonal inner layer made of clear plastic and three large wings molded to include three small blades made of colored plastic, the compact placement and direction of the blades creates a low recoil design. Gaps exist in between each wing so every other corner of the inner layer can house this Energy Layer's gimmick; three small rollers.
In theory, the rollers are meant to deflect the opponent's attacks by rolling with the opponent's Layer, but in practice the small size of the rollers makes them ineffective for such a purpose. Not only that but the gaps needed to house the gimmick create points of recoil and while at first glance the rollers appear to fill the gap to nullify recoil, on closer inspection the rollers create points of recoil due to sticking out from the perimeter.
Kreis Satan features four teeth, the first being medium in length and the next three being medium tall in length. These teeth, combined with the moderately low recoil design, give this Layer both high Burst and Knock-Out Resistance. However, the bulky design cripples Stamina giving Kreis Satan Combinations a high risk of being Out-Spun and the recoil inducing wheels make Kreis Satan lag behind Alter Chronos and Maximum Garuda.
Forge Disc - 8[]
- Main article: Forge Disc - 8
8, like other even numbered Core Discs, is symmetrical and elliptical in shape in order to facilitate a Disc Frame. Each side features four protrusions, each molded into the shape of an "8". Each of the lower loops of the "8"s features gaps, akin to Knuckle, which takes weight away from the center and creates high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) and subsequent Flywheel Effect, features theoretically perfect for Stamina. Furthermore, 8 is one of the heaviest Discs in the game, heavier than Heavy, Gravity, 2, 4, and 6 and its use can bolster a Beyblade's Knock-Out Resistance and Attack potential. However, like other heavy discs with high Outward Weight Distribution (OWD) such as Gravity and Ring, the use of 8 severely decreases a Beyblade's Burst Resistance as a trade off.
Disc Frame - Flow[]
- Main article: Disc Frame - Flow
Flow is a Disc Frame that features a triangular design with each side featuring three sloped blades, meant to provide Upper Force in Right-Spin and Down Force in Left-Spin. However, the small size of the blades means that the effect is negligible. Compared to Cross, Star and Glaive, Flow’s perimeter is too rough to aid in Life-After-Death in Defense and Stamina Combinations and compared to Vortex, Meteor and Bump, Flow has too little weight to aid in Attack Combinations.
Performance Tip - Press[]
- Main article: Performance Tip - Press
Press features a ball-shaped tip, much like Defense, but differs by having four significantly wider tabs around its tip compared to Defense's. In theory, these tabs will force the Beyblade back into an upright position after being knocked off balance and act as brakes to prevent Knock-Outs by striking against the stadium floor at the cost of Stamina. While such an effect does occur, the wider tabs create greater Stamina drain than Defense's with little to no improvement on Stability and Knock-Out Resistance. The top portion of Press also has four wall protrusions with a spike in the center on the sides of the Performance Tip, but hold no real purpose other than a slight source of Stamina loss, since they can also scrape along the stadium floor and are too low to be struck by any Burst System Beyblade.
